Ok I'm confused. :confused3

Can someone please explain to me the difference in Base Ticket, Hopper, etc. I'm ready to book for 9/23-9/30 with a 5 day base ticket. Me, DH & DD (4). I know we will not be going to the water parks, just MK, MGM & maybe Eptcot. Can I do all those parks on the Base ticket?

Thanks so much! :yay:

Yes.

Base ticket -- Choose from all four theme parks only, one park per day in any order, repetition or combination, no matter where you buy the ticket.

Add water park fun for additional visits to water parks, Disney Quest, Pleasure Island clubs, visits in any order, repetition or combination up to the number of visits allowed (same price of $53.* give four visits for a 5 day pass). Water park fun gives 6 visits on a 10 day pass which can stretch out into up to 16 days of Disney fun but without non-expiration when you start using any ticket you have 14 consecutive days to use up what you can.

Add hopping to visit more than one theme park on the same day. It costs the same $43.* no matter how many days were on your ticket or how many days remain. Note: Visiting two water parks, etc. on the same day also consumes two visits whether or not you have hopping. Several Pleasure Island clubs on the same night constitute one visit.

*Prices may be lower for tickets purchased in advance or higher for trading in tickets used more than 14 days ago or for modifying tickets purchased from some non-Disney outlets.

seashoreCM is, of course correct. But just to add a few tidbits:

1) ALL tickets allow you to leave and re-enter the SAME park in one day. No stamps or anything required, just come back to the park with your ticket and use it normally.

2) You CANNOT use two days off of a multi-day ticket to visit two parks in one day. You must buy the hopper option to do this. Reason being, there are deep discounts for longer multi-day tickets, and at a certain point it would be cheaper than hopping, and Disney doesn't want THAT! :rotfl2: (As mentioned, water parks and other "plusses" [or whatever they're called now] work differently; I'm talking about the four main parks here.)

3) You can add hopping at the parks. Cost is the same $43, again, no matter how many days you have on your ticket, how many you have left, or how soon your plane leaves. :lmao:
