confused about souvenir cups

Thank you so much for making me understand about the refills. I did get the meal deal and I thought I had to buy the cups. But I guess I don't. I will just buy the bigger cups and pay the small fee for refills. Thanks again for helping me.

It's crazy how confusing it is, glad I could help :-)

I am planning a trip to IOA very soon, and I am considering the meal deal tickets, but I am wondering how good of a "deal" they really are??? Has anyone been to the park lately that can give me an idea of what an average counter service meal would cost??? Is it less than $10, more than $10?? What about bottled water?? I am guessing at about $3-$4 per bottle...is this accurate. It's been a while since I have been to any parks (about 2-3 years).

I will be traveling with a child who is young enough to get the kids meal deal, and since this child is a "big" eater, it may pan out for meals for him, as long as he eats more than twice. But for me, not a big eater, would it be better to pass for my ticket and just go dutch??

Just trying to save a few dollars...
Thanks to anyone that can help!!

We bought this cup last week. If I remember correctly it was $6.99 and refills were 79 cents. It does have small print that the refills are only for day of purchase but they sold the same cup every day so we took it back the next day for the 79 cent refills.

In that same vein, we bought the popcorn bucket at US which had a big sign stating that refills were $1.99. When we got refills at the kiosk near Hulk (IOA) the popcorn rang up 79 cents (same as soda). So we just made sure to get our popcorn refilled there all day.

The popcorn refills are 85 cents(includes tax) at all stands. The employee told me that they just haven't changed the signs yet. I bought the blue man cup (which looks like the meal deal cup, just different wording) and my friends bought the red cups. We used the cups all last week and got the 85 cent refills every day.
