Confused about Sleepy Hollow dining at the Magic Kingdom

I get conflicting information if the waffle sandwiches at Sleepy Hollow are considered a quick service dining credit.

If so, do you get a side of some sort and I'm assuming a drink to go with the sandwich ??

This is confusing. I have often heard the same thing posted above, that you can't use a quick service credit for the waffle sandwich. I know we have been allowed to do so before though. We were given a chocolate chip cookie and a soft drink with it.

Perhaps since they recently changed the dining plan rules, they are allowing the use of a quick service credit for the sandwich plus the extra cookie and drink ???

We have free dining so I was hoping to try this place as a new experience. If the sandwich is not good for a quick service meal or to be used as a snack credit, it seems like this eating establishment is in limbo as an eating choice.

They have more than just the sandwich option - going by there tonight and I'll look at the menu to see what they have for symbols beside the other choices. I'm guessing the waffle with powdered sugar would be a snack credit, but I'll check to make sure.

Hi fellow Diser (OP) nothing wrong with post. You may want to post same ?on our Restaurant Board , then use sub Board Dining Plan, those folks really can help you.Not saying previous posters are wrong and trying to be helpful. So good luck and have a great visit to WDW.

Everyone is not on the dining plan. Or did you mean just "in limbo" for you?

We are all on the dining plan itchin2go.
Thanks danny1649. I will give your suggestion a try.

You have every reason to be confused. Technically, Sleepy Hollow does not do any QS meals, but they do have a few things that are snack credits. None of the waffle sandwiches are snack credits. However, there have been reports here and there that people have been able to use their QS credits to get the waffle sandwich, chips, and a drink. But there have also been reports of people trying to use a QS credit, and being told they could not. So it seems the ability to use your QS credits here will be up to the person who happens to be working on the day you try it. If it's something you want to do, stop and ask, and be ready to change your plans if you are told no.

I think it would be bad if this was considered CS. Most CS locations have multiple cashiers; Sleepy Hollow has 1 or 2. The line moves incredibly slowly, at best! If people were using dining credits for meals here it would be a real sshow.

I as usual refer to josh. He has a pic of the menu about 3/4 the way down. It looks like the plain waffle and funnel cake are snack credits, but unfortunately it doesn't say anything about the filled waffles. I think asking that day is probably your best bet.

Yup, that's what it looked like yesterday too - the waffle sandwiches, and the waffle with strawberries, were not tagged as snack credits, but pretty much everything else was.

I had read elsewhere (DisneyFoodBlog maybe) that they were not eligible for a CS or Snack credit. My problem is I have yet to make it to Sleepy Hollow before 5 pm when they quit selling the ones with chicken or prosciutto and cheese!
