Confused about Pricing

I was going to switch from WL to CR because of renovations happening AND because online it says rooms at CR are $395 vs WL at $424. However, when the package gets included the price of the CR is higher by almost $300…How is this happening?

Lowest cost rooms at CR are $395
Lowest cost rooms at WL are not $424, they are less
So those are not apples to apples comparison.
I'm betting the room category for WL at $424 is an upgraded view of some sort, maybe even CL, where at CR it's most likely a Garden Wing Standard views
But when you check the packages you are seeing a standard view at WL and it's compared to standard Garden Wing at CR. So apples to apples. Because CR is more than WL in most cases, apples to apples.
As for why you find it shows up that way, results that return when doing availability search on the Disney site is odd now.
It tends to show skewed results and only shows rooms at a specific category if they are left for that promo.
It's possible the standard room only WL rooms are gone but the standard package rooms at WL are not.
