How much does this cost? I have Carrie's Passporter's book, and it says $425 round trip or close to $100 an hour, with a five hour minimum. If I am having my guests picked up from their hotels, taken to the WP, then taken to the reception at ADH, and then back to their hotels, what is this considered? Would it be considered round trip or no because the ceremony and reception are in different places? If it is not considered round trip, do I have to pay the hourly fee for the whole time everyone is at the reception? Please help!

I could be wrong but I think round trip is A to B, B to A. If you want it to stop at multiple hotels, you need to pay extra for that. I'm guessing the same for taking guests from the WP to ADH. It sounds like a charter would probably be better for you since you need transportation after the ceremony. I think the times it works best for roundtrip is if your ceremony/reception is in the same place.

Hopefully someone who knows for sure will come along, but that's the impression I get.

We paid $585 for a Chartered Motor Coach for 6 hours. It went from the WP to AK and then to where ever our guests were staying.

I believe you have to pay the 5 hour minimum and then $100.00 for each hour after that.

Our ceremony was in Epcot - our motorcoach started picking everyone up at I believe 7:30am or 8:00am. First it picked up everyone staying at the POFQ, then everyone from The Boardwalk, (rthese were the only 2 resorts we used) it then brought everyone to Epcot for the ceremony. After the ceremony, it brought everyone to ADH for our reception. Our reception lasted until 3:00. We had the motorcoach wait around through our reception to take everyone back to their resort after our reception. I believe it also made a trip at 1:30 and 2:30 if anyone was interested in going back to their resort early. The final motorcoach was at 3:30.

So, we had the motorcoach from 7:30am to 3:30pm - this was the minimum 5 hours plus another 3 hours that we paid for. You can have the motorcoach not take your guests back to their resort after the reception and use it for less hours. We figured we did not want people to have to get back on their own.

We did have a DP in Epcot later that night that we had everyone take Disney transportation to so we did not pay for a private bus later that same night.

Any other disbrides in the know please confirm if this is correct.

We paid $781 for 8 hours. It picked guests up from 3 hotels, brought them to the Wedding Pavilion, then to the GF Ballroom, then back to the hotels. It was also available to pick up anyone who wanted to leave early.

Our bus schedule is very similar and so is the price breakdown. It's allot of time to have the bus rental but i'm sure it'll be worth it.

Yeah - it is alot of time for the bus to wait around during the reception. I just did not want to have people try to get back to their resorts after the reception. I figured they traveled all this way (most were from NY/NJ area) and we were having them get their own transportation to the DP later that night, and they had all been up so early.

Thanks ladies. I was hoping to keep this expense around $500 but I deff. want it to take guests back to their hotels after, so we will probably end up spending around $800 as well. Do you think 3:30-11:30 is reasonable if our ceremony begins at 4:30/5 (I am hoping they will let us do 4:30) and our reception will end at 11:00?

Linda I agree. Our guests will be coming from NY as well so I deff. don't want them to have to worry about transportation after a night of having fun!

We saved a bit of money by having guests get themselves to the WP and then we transported them around after...just a thought :)

I think alot has to do with where your locations are. We were Epcot at 9:00am so our guests could not get there themselves. If you are having your ceremony at a resort or the WP it is easier for them to get there themselves. It also depends what time your ceremony starts - if you have a late day start - this gives them more time.

We thought about letting our guests get themselves to the WP but we decided against it because we have a couple of older guests that could make the walk from the monorail to the pavilion but it is a bit of a distance and it will be september in FL (<-it gonna be HOT!) The WP is walking distance from the GF but i can personally say its a bit of a walk.

Pixiedust, our ceremony is at 5pm and our reception ends at 11pm. My WP set up the motor coach to operate from 3:30pm-12:30am. We are asking to start a little earlier and end earlier (who is going to be left at 12:30!?) so that the motor coach can pick up the bridal party. We don't care about a limo and it will save on cost. The cost is what Linda mentioned: 5 hour minimum at a little under $100/hr.
