I know that there is a newer marriott area with springhill suites, court yards, and residence or fairfield inns. Can someone help clarify this for me. Also, does any of them come with 2 bedrooms and a full kitchen? :confused3

:paw: They are at Little Lake Bryan in Lake Buena Vista about 400 yards from the Premium Outlets. They are fairly new built around 2000,we stayed at the Springhill suites in '01. Fairfield is the cheaper of the 3 but you can use the facilities at them all. No none of them has 2 bedrooms, the suites consist of 2 double beds & a small living room/kitchen with a sleeper sofa,i don't remember the kitchen having a hob but it did have a microwave & fridge. We found it ok for us (3) but wouldn't like to stay as a 5 or6 in one for any length of time.
Hope this helps SD

THANK YOU, We stayed at a springhill suites years back at another location, free continental breakfast and the price was good. We were alittle cramped.
I think the courtyard rooms might be nicer than the springhill. I will have to keep researching.

I think there is a site called marriottvillage.com that has some info you might find helpfull too.

Yes, it did open in the Fall of 2000; more specifically, Fairfield Inn opened in October, then Courtyard and then Springhill Suites, the latter not being open yet in November 2000. My room at the Fairfield Inn was sooo new, nobody had yet used the heat :sunny:
It's a gated area, so visitors have to either check in with the guard or use their room keys to open the 'arm' gate to get in. There are several restaurants within walking distance, aka just outside the Village entrance, including a Bahama Breeze.

The rooms at the Marriott Village Courtyard are not that big. (You'd probably get more space at the Springhill Suites, with the defined couch and desk area). However, the Courtyard there does have a balcony with table and chairs, and if you get a room that overlooks the pool (which is indoor/outdoor and has a waterfall) it can be some pretty nice extra usable space. Downside to the Courtyard is no free breakfast.

The Residence Inn nearby (on Palm) will get you 2 rooms and a full kitchen. Great pool---resort feel! Really liked the beds here too.

We also stayed in a wonderful 2 room suite at the Courtyard on Palm. The bedroom closed off from the very large l/r, with sofa sleeper. Not a full kitchen, but small fridge, micro and coffee maker. Somehow, dh was checking the computer and got a special rate of $130. over Easter for this. The pool was pretty basic.

We have stayed in a 1 bed executive at the Courtyard LLB. It has a large living space with full size sofa sleeper, patio overlooking the pool, microwave, fridge, small bar sink and a seperate bedroom with a king size bed.

This will give you a bit more space, but not 2 seperate bedrooms.
