Confused about Keruig Coffee Makers..Help!

The 8 oz. cup of hot water is also perfect when measuring for packets of mashed potatoes. 2 cups straight into the bowl, add the potatoes, and stir. I'm such a slacker mom.

I want one of these!! I just cant get past the high cost of the cups!! unless there are places that sell them cheaper? I dont have a reg coffie makeer now, I just dont like the hassle of making it really....

I usually buy them at BJs. I just bought a box of 80 Kcups for about $31.

My DD actually asked for this for Christmas last year. She is a big tea drinker and liked the idea of all the different teas, plus the hot chocolate. I am a fresh ground beans kind of coffee person, so I never thought I'd use it, but we all use it now! She has the cheapest non-mini one, which is the Elite. I see it's 103.50 on Amazon, but I could have sworn it was in the $70-80 range last Christmas!

Thanks for all the replies. Now I'm pretty sure Santa is definitely bringing a Keurig! With extra coffee for mom.

Just an FYI-I normally am a very responsible parent, but ds11 has PPD and is very difficult to shop for, and his birthday is shortly after x-mas so even harder to shop for! The more I think about it the more I'm loving the idea of a Keurig that the whole family can use

There is nothing irresponsible about buying your DS a Keurig I think its a great idea!! My DD was about 10 when we discovered that drinking coffee helped with her migraines. I didn't like to see her spending her allowance at Dunkin' Donuts so we bought a Keurig to try. DD is 14 now and we still love our Keurig! We do have the "My K-cup" adapter that we use to brew Starbuck's. We prefer Swiss Miss hot cocoa to any of the flavors that come in K-cups so we just use the microwave for the Swiss Miss.
