Great advice.
Also just remember that at Universal you need to apply for a GAC (Guest Assistance Card, or 'express pass') at each park visit, though they do hold your details so it's not as time consuming for you.
This is different to WDW theme parks where the GAC is valid for your entire stay and you need not re-apply.
If you need extra comfort I know the moderator on the Universal forum, and she works at Guest Services at Universal.
Let me know if you want me to ask her on your behalf.
thanks Johnny, but i'll wait for now....i'll see if we actually go...
what i might do, if she does want to go and is up to it, i'll go in advance i think and ask for it..
she's very resistant to asking for any kind of help.....she has difficulty walking, but refuses to use a cane or any kind of walking aid (though she really does need it now, but i think she considers it admitting that the disease is beating her).......so i wouldn't want to embarrass her and ask for assistance when she's with me....
i'm going to be in orlando a week before she joins me there...so i'll have plenty of time to zip over to universal and ask for help in advance of her visit....i don't mind doing it...i'm renting a car, so it's not really a big deal to pop over one day and speak with someone to see if anything can be arranged...
i wish there was a make-a-wish organization for adults...it would probably help in organizing trips like this...but it will be fine...
anyway, thanks for the offer!!
