We will be there the last week of Oct and it appears they changed EE since the last time we were there (2005).

Is there any getting around only getting one EE per park hopper? Is only FL open during EE now?

How does the Toontown Mornings work now? It looks like they will have it Wednesday the 31st but it will be @10:00 when the park opens? How can they have something like that start at the same time the park opens?

BTW: Dinseylands new site structure makes it impossible to get any details. :headache:

Thanks in advance.

If you stay at a Disney resort, you are eligible to enter EE any day that it is offered during your stay. Fantasyland and several rides at Tomorrowland are open during EE. Toontown usually opens an hour after the park, so if you have Toontown Madness tickets you would head straight to Toontown for the opening at 10:00 AM. I guess they just delay the opening a bit to allow people to get there.

There are 2 ways to get more than one EE is to stay onsite. FL is open during EE as is Nemo, Space Mountain, Buzz, and Astro Orbitor. Another is to buy tickets (you don't have to buy a package) from getawaytoday.com. For Mickey's Toontown Morning Madness, if you want to go, you will want to go when the park opens at 10.

And BTW, DL's website isn't that new. It's been there for a few years now.

Actually, getawaytoday.com is offering 2 EE days with any 3+ day hopper. You don't even have to book a package through them, you can get it if you order tickets separately.

I believe this special is running through the end of the year.

The DL website did just in the last several months do a complete revamp of their look and you have to have the most recent version of Flash and Quicktime in order to view everything. I found it a bit difficult to navigate at first as well.

That's what I thought but maybe the people my wife talked to did not understand clearly that we would be staying at the Disneyland Hotel. She called when we gave up trying to get answers on the website.

Is this multi-day EE while staying at a Disney Resport policy officially in writing anywhere? We couldn't find it anywhere including our package confirmation. I really want to plan some different things and having that EE multiple days or not will make a big difference.

I also thought that DCA opened early on some days but I couldn't find anything on that either.

It's not the Flash or layout, just the total lack of any details. Seems to be more about the looks, and getting you to the "book vacation" page, than being helpful about anything else.

The multiple EE privilege for Resort guests is an unadvertised perk that often times is not even known by reservations CM's. It has been in effect since the 50th, and people on disney fan sites such as the DIS, keep reporting back that it is still, in fact, being offered. You will need to present your charge slip along with your entry media at the gates in order to enter at EE.

As far as DCA, it generally opens its gates 30 minutes early, at 9:30 am, and the only ride open during that time is Soarin. They do a rope drop at 10 am for the other areas of the park.

HTH.

What charge slip? I thought we showed our room key before.

Glad to know that DCA is still doing the 30 min early thing as well. Why isn't this stuff officially documented anywhere? WDW is pretty good aobut doing it, why not DLR?

A recent thread reported that getaway.com is selling special tix with multiple EE days and does not require a DLR hotel stay.

Its a slip of white paper that you sign at check-in. To the naked eye, it appears to be nothing much. I lost the first one I got because I thought it was nothing. But it is actually the thing you use to charge food/drinks/whatever to your room. Your plastic room key card does not accomplish this. Thus this slip of white paper is also the thing that gets you into EE (along with your regular DL ticket). Heads up!

I've stayed on-site 4 or 5 times over the past couple of years and used multiple EE each time. As noted before, this has been an unadvertised perk for a couple of years. During my last visit last month, the CM checking me into the DLH told me (even though I already knew) that EE was available each day of my stay. I also overheard another CM telling another guest checking in. I had never been informed of this perk during check-in for previous stays at the DLH and GCH, but only knew about the perk through this boards. So, perhaps they are starting to promote this perk more.

It is not good enough to show your room key at the gate for EE because the keys can be retained after you check out. The white charge slip is used, presumably because it indicates the dates of your stay.

DCA does not have EE, however, the gates typically open 1/2 hour before scheduled opening. During this 1/2 hour, Soarin' is the only ride that is open. Most of the park is roped off. (Sorry, looks like I'm being redundant).

OK, I confess I've never done Toontown Madness, but I believe it is available on non-EE days, not EE days. Typically, Toontown opens 1 hour after normal park opening.

You will get the slip from your CM when you check in. (& fyi, you can get it on THE DAY you check in too - say 6am for an 8am EE). This unadvertised "perk" is common knowledge here on the DLR board, & is confirmed almost weekly.

Not advertised, but multi day EE (at DLR hotels) is absolutely used & discussed here daily. Not sure why it isn't documented.....but another reason to be thankful for the DIS.

Have a great time. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the replies.

Not sure why DL would keep it a secret comared to WDW actually listing as a perk of staying onsite, but there you go. :confused3

It's just at WDW, there is some kind of EMH every day. At DL, EE is only offered M, T, TH, Sa. It could get a little confusing if they stated that "If you stay onsite, you get EE every day!" and then add a little disclaimer saying that EE isn't offered every day.

If I bought tickets today from getawaytoday.com, would I be able to use them next year with no problems, including the two early entries? Or do they expire at some point even if they go unused?

I bought my 5-day park hoppers from FunSun Vacations and I received 2 EE days when I exchanged my voucher for the park hoppers. I was not staying onsite. I know another family who also used FunSun also received 2 EE days -not sure if it is FunSun related or they changed it during low season so you can use one day for Nemo. I was surprised when the CM mentioned it but she didn't elaborate as to why.

I believe they expire (like most tickets) sometime around January 2nd. Though I do not know for sure. It says nothing about it on their website.
