Confused about discount codes

Just some questions ...

1) If I reserve a room now with a AAA rate, can I call back later to get the lower rate with the discount code, once that is released?

2) Are the codes only for Annual Passholders and FL residents, or are they for everyone?

3) If the codes are relesed first to FL residents and/or passholders, and they are posted here, can those of us who are not passholders or FL residents still use them?

Thanks. I'm trying to get the best rate for a mid-May visit ...

1) Yes, assuming rooms are available at the discounted rate.

2) Different codes are released for different people: AP holders, FL residents, Disney Visa holders, other state residents, etc, etc, and the general public.

3) you must be a Florida resident to use the FL resident discount. You can call and get an AP discounted room, but you must have the AP or AP voucher at checkin.
