Confused about DHS opening times ...

We will be at DHS on 4/4 and the calendar says the park opens at 9:00. I was just playing with Lines this morning and noticed that it is opening at 8:00 this week - I'm assuming for Spring Break? So will it open at 8:00 the following week (week after Easter), too? And when it opens at 8 do they still let people in a bit early? Very confused Thanks!

Yes, DHS turnstiles have been opening approx. 15 min. prior to official park opening regardless of scheduled opening time.

Does this mean they release you into the park to wait a rope drop or they actually let you in to ride rides and see attractions early? I didn't know this! Do all parks do it?

We were there a couple weeks ago.....opening was 9, they opened about 8:40.
We walked on TSMM and walked out and got a fast pass with no line there either.
It was great!
