Confused about closing costs

I was sure that I had read somewhere on these boards that one of the perks of buying through Disney was no closing costs. However, I spoke to my guide yesterday and she referred to closing costs.

Maybe what I read concerned add-ons?

add ons have no closing costs and I know that OKW doesnt' have any either but I'm not sure about any other ones.

Add-on through Disney doesn't have closing costs/fees.

And as I understand it for an initial first DVC purchase through Disney OKW will not & some of the "earlier" DVC resorts may not also. "Newer" DVC resorts will (like BLT, AKV).

Until fairly recently (can't remember how long, maybe a year or two ago), all Disney sales had no closing costs. Now new purchasers at new resorts have them but not existing members when adding on.
