We have a few TS meals planned so we will probably use some QS credits for breakfast. am I understanding this correctly? You only get 2 drinks if you get a single item such as a breakfast sandwich?

Breakfast: Juice, Entrée, Non-alcoholic beverage
OR one Combo Meal, Non-alcoholic beverage

Thanks! I'm trying to figure it all out before hand so I understand what I'm doing!

Also, I remeber getting a prepackage thing before it was cheese and grapes, does anyone know if that's considered a snack?

Yes, you get two beverages of your choice with breakfast. We used our refillable mugs, then just picked up Powerade and vitamin waters to take back to the room. Can't give you a definite answer about the cheese/fruit. Each of the resorts have their own snacks.

do you get 2 drinks regardless of what you get? The wording makes it seem like if I would pick a breakfast sandwich I would, but if I got a combo I would only get one drink.

With a lunch or dinner, you get the entree or combo, a non-alcoholic beverage, and a dessert. Because there's no dessert with breakfast, you get a second non-alcoholic beverage.

Two beverages with any entree. Entrees range from breakfast sandwiches, waffles, and combo platters. Love the Mickey waffles. Can't wait to have them next week!

Can you have some for me too please :cool1: I'll drink extra coffee at home on your behalf. ;)

The wording is somewhat misleading, but you do get 2 beverages, as long as they are qualifying beverages on the Dining Plan so there may be some exclusions, often in the form of certain branded bottled drinks, but if you are unsure, just ask a CM and they will be happy to help you.

DH uses QS for breakfast and gets a platter and two orange juices.
I use my refillable mug, and use a snack credit for a chocolate croissant or a small container of fresh fruit. Yes you can use a snack credit for a dish of fruit. I didn't see cheese and fruit together at breakfast.

Hi there! We're sold to the QSDP, and have used it on our past 2 trips, and again in a month. We always eat breakfast at our resort food court (All-Star Music), and what we do for breakfast is either :

1- Use one CS for one breakfast plate, one beverage (orange juice or bottled chocolate milk) and one fruit cup, and split this between us two. I didn't know until our last trip, but YES, it is sometimes possible to switch one of your beverages for a fruit cup. Always ask the CM before paying just to be sure (I ask every morning when it's a different CM, just in case), because we all know different CM sometimes means different rules... I didn't try for anything other than a fruit cup, but I would assume it would also work for a breakfast pastry.

2- What we also do sometimes is use one CS for one breakfast plate and two bottles of water (to take to the park), use a snack to buy a fruit cup, and use our refillable mugs to get coffee or hot chocolate.

Both options work great for us, because we're not big breakfast eaters, so we keep one CS for lunch and two for dinner, and still have plenty of snacks to keep us going!

This is completely dependent on the resort. What is allowed at one is not necessarily allowed at another. From my experience, the values are a lot more flexible than the others and all resorts are more flexible than the park CS locations.

You are correct. They would not let me do this last summer at Roaring Forks at WL. I had to choose two drinks and then used a snack credit for the fruit.

Well then, all the more reason for us to keep staying Value then! :-) I did assume they allowed this in other resorts food courts, thanks for correcting the info. The bottom line though is that when in doubt, asking the CM is the best thing to do, because you never know until you ask.

I do hope they continue being somewhat flexible on that at ASMu. Not that we ever ran out of credits on the QSDP, but still, I'd much prefer to bring back a few goodies home with leftover snacks, than use them for fruit cups.

We were allowed to do the same thing at Pop in Oct. DS son would get a platter, drink and bagel (for me) with one CS. Hope it is the same at ASMu in Aug.

thanks for everyone's replies!!! We are staying at Pop so I will have to see about switching a second beverage for a fruit cup! That would be a big help in trying to stretch the meals!
