Conflicted on Resorts?

Hi everyone:) We are planning a trip for May, and are trying to find a Resort. We don't want to spend too much money on a place where we only sleep, but we still want a decent place. Any recommendations? We are not picky on which theme parks; we will also be on the regular dining plan. Thanks in advance for your help:)

Honestly, I'd recommend POP Century in a heartbeat. I was the same way when we went in 2010 and POP exceeded my expectations.

**I see you may have several going. You might want to look into one of the values that offers suites!

Are there any that you know of that offer suites?

All star music has suites, but they're not cheap. Also Port Orleans Riverside has rooms that sleep 5 in the Alligator Bayou section. Your 6 year old should fit comfortably on the murphy bed that pulls down under the tv. I love the moderates, the themed pools and hot tubs are awesome.

Right now, my top choices are AKL, Polynesian, PoFQ and AOA:)

Assuming your whole family is going (it looks like there are 5 of you), POFQ would be out, unless you get 2 rooms, which would be expensive. Those rooms only sleep 4.

If you want a single room that sleeps 5, you'll need either a deluxe resort or POR (someone mentioned the trundle bed before). However, putting a family of 5, including 2 teenagers, in a room at Riverside would be AWFULLY cramped.

You're best to compare cost of a room at the deluxe resorts you mentioned vs. a suite at AOA. One other factor to consider is that AOA includes 2 bathrooms, so factor that into your decision as well!

Thanks for the help! Right now, I think AOA Cars Suite is right for us:)

I am not sure when in May you are going, but the Cars suites will not be open this May. Are you going this May? Also, only Nemo will be open and not until May 31st. So really June. Just so you know.
We are also going in May. I really would have loved to stay at AOA, because there are 6 of us, but I ended up with 2 rooms at POFQ.
Good luck with your decision.
