Conflict between website and CM Pricing?

Hi,

We got PINs for Free Dining or Room Only discount.

When I called the CM with my PIN, she said my best offer would be the FD. She quoted me over $3200 for POR, Standard Room, January 19-26, with 4 days of park tickets. I thought that was a little high and when I checked the website (same parameters without linking to my PINs), I got a price of $2231.08 (no dining since it should be free, no)?

What am I doing wrong?

I'd call back. That is not the correct price. Also, make sure your park tickets aren't non expiration or another type. Sounds like she didn't apply pin code.

Ugh, I wish they had a toll free number. I called once to see why my PINs wouldn't link (I get a message that there is more than one address linked to my account and to call) - they told me you can't get quotes using PINs online. And again, for this really high quote. Calling from Canada, it really adds up.

Thanks for the opinion. I thought it was high.

yeah, sounds like she either gave you higher bracket tickets, (water parks, hoppers, no exp )

Or gave you the price for one of the "preferred" rooms, or the royal room maybe.

The CM's math dosent add up somewhere

For $1,000 she just didn't apply the pin code, and they're charging you for dining.

Call back, get a new quote - it stinks that it adds up, but your quote from the internet will be a good rough estimate if you just leave the dining off :thumbsup2

Some CMs will also put insurance on pkgs without telling you they're quoting it in. Make sure what category room they are quoting you. Sometimes if standard isn't available and you request a certain resort, they quote what's available. I would jot down everything you want in detail before calling.

Definitely.

OP - don't hesitate to tell them you are seeing a much different price online then what is being quoted and find out what is different.
