Confirming PSs

I leave on Thursday and I have heard a few people mention that they confirm there PSs. So I have a simple question -

Do you confirm your PSs?

Good question. I would like to hear the answer too.

I made 1 PS then called back later and made 2 more. At that time I confirmed the first. I think I will call this week and confirm the ones I have.

I don't call but when I get to my resort I ask the front desk to give me a printout of all the PSs that I have.

As an orginizational freak, I always check my PSs - especially since I change them so much before finalizing plans! The Dining Castmembers are always so obliging!

I never confirmed my PSs but I think it is definitely a smart thing to do. I went last week and had a couple mix ups. I called four different times while PSs and I think I got a couple of CMs who didn't quite know what they were talking about....accidents do happen. We had a PS for 8:30 at Coral Reef and arrived and found out that they actually stopped seating at 8pm. The CM that I made the PS with told me that i had a PS for 8:30. Also, I called while I was down there to make a PS for RFC and was told I had to call the same day to make one and when I did the CM told me that they don't take PS's on the same day and I was supposed to call ahead of time.

I have already confirmed my PSs about a month prior to going because I discovered confusion about a date for a tour reservation quite by accident. (I was inquiring about something else and thought I might as well). The date was registered incorrectly somehow (miscommunication?). Well, I was grateful to have it work out and glad that I just happened to casually mention it and discover the discrepancy between my intention/plan and what they had me down for. Based on that, I decided to confirm my PSs and I will probably do it once more given that earlier goof.
