confirming ADR's

Does anyone call before their trip to confirm ADR's ? I made my reservations so long ago,I thought it might be a good idea just to make sure all my reservations are in place. anyone do this?
 
I always do.....it gives me peace of mind knowing everything is still in place right before we get there ;). I also type out our ADRs along with the confirmation numbers and take that with JUST IN CASE......you never know when there might be a computer glitch :scared1:.
 
I don't call and confirm my ADRs because I don't want them to accidently get messed up. A CM was on these boards a while ago (years?) and suggested that the more times a CM has to open an ADR the more chances are that something could get messed up. Instead I type up the ADR times and numbers and take them with me. I have a list of ADRs run at the hotel as soon as I arrive. I've only had trouble once in 8 trips. They said that my LeCellier reservation was for another day (a day before we arrived) and I told them that was impossible since we weren't even at Disney yet. They worked us in an hour later. I was polite but firm and everything worked out okay in the end. I've made well over 100 ADRs and thats the only problem I've had
 
I had my Ta call and confirm mine...just because i made all mine during the first free dining rush and wanted to make sure nothing got messed up.I have all my conf#s and they were all right when ta confirmed.I will not re-check again
 
Yes, I do. It's simple. They use your phone #, and then they run down your list to you. You don't have to go through a long list of 8 digit numbers one at a time to them.
 
It is a must to call and confirm your ADRs......be sure to have your confirmation #'s ready...........last year there were "problems" with several of my ADR's........I had the numbers and then they were honored. FOr one, they even added another family to my ADR's. After checking the Con. # they corrected the problem! One was not listed in their system.....again I had the Con.# and they fixed it immediately!

I ALWAYS confirm, and reconfirm my ADRS!
 
I had changed some of mine and so I confirmed them all and the CM questioned the number I had reserved--2 more than covered with the DP. I told him I would pay out of pocket or cancel some. I was nervous for a minute that he would make me cancel then, but I don't know why I would have to, since I have the option of OOP. Everything was fine.
 
Nope not planning to, I have my number I will show up at the time given on the day requested with my reservation number and if they have got it mucked up then they will have to fix it.
