This is looking like the most difficult place to go to on the DP.

Can anyone give me confirmed options for their app. and desserts?

Where you able to get the salad?

Just returned from our trip and the following were available with the free dining plan:

Appetizers: Edamame (soybean pods)
Garden Salad
Misoshiru Soup
Seaweed Salad
Note: You cannot order any of the sushi for appetizer

Desserts: Ginger Cake
Fresh Fruit (Pineapple)
Ice Cream (chocolate, ginger, green tea, vanilla, orange sherbert, or fat free sugar free vanilla)

Of all the choices on the DDP I dislike using it at the non-Disney owned, participating places the least. They are the most restrictive and least accomadating. If they get a set price from Disney and are not happy with that it would be lots easier to have them not participate than have them restrict so very much.

Thank you SO much for the info. Based on our own previous experience AND being on the DDP, we have decided not to use our TS credits there.
We are going to go on a day we do not have the dining and pay OOP.
I wish we could just pass this place up, but we love it. We sure aren't going back for the service.

It made sense to me to steer clear of Teppanyaki. FWIR, only there and at DTD are the non-Disney-owned restaurants so persnickity.
