I read in one of the many guidebboks I have read that you can request a (brochure) map from the concierge at the Hard Rock hotel that will be like a self-guided tour of the memorabilia in the lobby/hotel... Can anyone shed any light on this? :scratchin

how old is that guidebook?

some of them have dated info and don't edit out the things that no longer be.

if they have that map at the lobby desk, it must be new.
wasn't there the last time i stayed at hrh.
of course, that doesn't mean a thing........
i never inquired about the memorabilia map.....

It's the Universal Orlando 2012 Guidebook by Seth Kubersky. Raven, that scares me...If You've never heard of it I'm wondering if it was bad info!!;)

i'm not saying they don't have it, just have not heard about it.

i know the front desk will tell you what memorabilia is on each floor if you ask them. i have received that info from them.

the elevators empty out on each floor to a foyer.
you will see memorabilia on each floor besides the 3rd floor lobby.

hopefully someone will post and say if they asked and received the map you mentioned.

I just called the concierge and she said they do have a tour brochure at the front desk and concierge desk. also said they still will do tours at the Hard Rock in Citywalk too. I'm there. :drive:

Memorabilia

You'll find the hotel decorated with authentic memorabilia - take a self guided tour and discover Elvis Presley's stage outfit, Elton John's boots, Eric Clapton's guitar and much more. See over $1 million worth of rock star memorabilia during your stay. If you didn't bring your best duds to hang out at Hard Rock, stop by the Hard Rock Store to pick up some Hard Rock gear.

I know the HRC has a tour if you ask. :)
