We spent many hours waiting in line when standby was the only option in the last century. I agree it was not magical. I didn't want to return due to the crowds. It's understandable why I eagerly accept any skip-the-line product.
It lost money from you, but gained from us. We're going more often knowing that we can get on more rides.
Yeah, but a wash isn't usually what a business is looking for. Similar to customer churn, which is usually (not always) a bad thing. They would much rather have both and that is typically the goal.
