*Confirmed* G+ Changes to Advanced Lightning Lane

Unless you go during a busy time, most of the slow rides only have a 5 to 20-minute wait.

We just came back from WDW. Rides like Figment, Living with the Land, Space Ship Earth, Nemo, 3 Caballeros, Small World, Mermaid, People Mover were walk-ons. Pirates, Mansion, and Winnie had a 15-20 minute wait.
You've pick a lot of the rides we would do. We are going right after Thanksgiving.

Hi, I have a question on the new multipass. For the people, like myself, who are staying off site, I know that we can start booking 3 days before the first day that the tickets are good for. What I would like to have clarified is if I am able to book for the entire duration of the tickets at that time.
So if I have a 10 day ticket that is good starting on 09.05.24 to 09.18.24, am I able to book for all 10 days starting on 09.02.24?

Yes. For your type of ticket which is date based, the 3 day window also gets length of ticket so you don’t have to keep coming back each day.

So this is the first time I'm looking at possibly purchasing this product. I'm going at a relatively slow time, yet all of the lightning lanes we'd want are in the late afternoon or evening. Why would anyone buy this if I can't even get another one until the first is used?

Not to mention, the stretch they have to make in order to offer enough inventory.....Pixar shorts film? Bird show? Really? I have to pay for the privilege of skipping the line to something that never has a line and never will?

It's no wonder the masses are moving on to something else.

It sounds like you've learned about it and decided that it doesn't work well for your plans. It's not required and not everyone will be buying it. It works well for a lot of people. It's not a good fit for others. This is why it's optional.

Another thing I loved about Genie+...you could have a late day and have a lot of things lined up without hurting your chances. Because everybody was mostly in the same boat and you got new rides to pick every two hours, you didn't have to go to the park early.
Definitely agree here - I could get every single ride we wanted via G+, even while travelling with teens who don't like to get up early. This new system rewards rope droppers. Wish me luck next year travelling with four teens - I'm gonna have to haul them out of bed before 7! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean, you realize that was the same argument those who loved G+ used? I am not a fan of either system, so I have no skin in this game, but that’s a laughable response considering the complaints the last 4 years about G+.
