Ok so here is the scoop. I was going to do 7 day park hopper with flight centre, a Canadians company. I said let me call Disney just to make sure I can't get the same with them. So spoke to someone in ticket sales. She said as long as I get 6 day park hopper online off there website. I can bring those tickets with everyone present in my party and exchange for 7 day for 221 dollars that's 5 dollars more than the 6 day. But here's the best part I can go as high as 8 days. With no extra charge for the 8th day. I had my wife call back and speak to supervisor and she confirmed this is true. Hope this helps some people. The exchange would be at customer service outside Disneyland.

So let me say this out loud again and get this right... If you buy your tickets directly from Disney you can buy a 6 day hopper, pay and extra $5.00 when at the park and get the 8th day free?

Hmmmm Now I am intrigued!

Do you get those at the ticket booth when you redeem your voucher, or do you need to speak with guest relations?

Can you post again after your trip to let us know if it worked like you were told it would? I sure hope so because we really liked the trips we did with 7 days in the past. :thumbsup2

Is this only for Canadians who could otherwise buy from Flight Centre?

The fact that you got 2 or 3 separate CMs to say this makes me wonder, but in general I would doubt it like crazy. I would be SURE to budget enough to either buy extra 2 day tickets or upgrade to APs, just in case those CMs simply lost their minds while speaking to you and your wife...

I recall before seeing posts about people mentioning an 8 day park hopper available at Flight Centre for the same price as a 7 day, so maybe Disney decided to go that route as well. It will be nice to hear once people have been able to upgrade to an 8 day pass if they buy tickets through Disney, just to confirm that it can be done for a fact.

Thanks, OP! :)

Is it a good deal to buy DL tickets from Flight Centre?

Ok quick question, does that include if you buy the cheaper 6 day pass, at the moment you save $40 per person on a 6 day pass if you buy it online. :confused3

Tino,
I would call again. I just called to try to see if I can upgrade my pass to 7 day tickets CM said they don't offer anything past a 6 day and I couldn't upgrade my ticket at the box office. CM was rude and I think Disney needs to offer at least a 7 day pass.

I think you would have to do the exchange at the Walt Disney Travel Company at the end of Downtown Disney (near Disneyland Hotel).

8 day hopper? I think that's a bit much...

Yeah but you are a local.

I think in Australia you can buy 14day PHs, because it's a long flight and they may want more days since it's an uncommon trip.

Dexican, its really frustrating getting different info from different people. Did you call ticket sales. That's who we called twice. My wife spoke to a supposed supervisor the second time. It should not be this difficult. If they tell me yes I can get eight day pass and we book shows and dinners. If we get there and say sorry you were mis informed there will be hell to pay. It's amazing how different people are told different things. I wish someone could get us a definite answer, but I know what I was told twice.

I would be surprised if this was actually true, unless things have changed in the past year. We purchased six day hoppers last summer and had to pay the full one day ticket price to add an additional day.

Do you know who you were speaking to? Where they are and what there primary function is?

If you had bought your 8 day ticket then and there over the phone, that would be confirmation. Being told you can, sometime will work sometimes it won't.

It's true. I know for a fact I can buy them from flight centre. What is not known is if you americans can.
