Confirmation of Booking????

Hi Everyone

It has just occurred to me this evening that we booked for Disney for the xmas season back in may/june some time and i have just realised we havent recieved a confirmation of booking im sure i did recieve this on our last trip to disney please could anyone advise further has anyone else had one???, we still have 1 more installment to make on the 21st October but i would have though we should have recieved something by now to say we are going??????

This has made me feel really uneasy hope we are still booked!
 
I got ours within 24hrs, on the phone they said confirmation email can take up to 48hrs. Have you checked your spam folder?

I'd call them up tomorrow to check x
 
yes, you should have had your email confirmation within a couple of days by email of your booking being made. I'd give Disney a call in the morning and get them to send it again.
 
Do you still get email confirmation if i called them on the phone to make the booking not done a online booking?
 

yes, you still get email confirmation with your booking number on it when you book over the phone.
 
Ah ok will definatly need to chase this up tomorrow then carnt believe i have only just thought about it im sure last time i got confirmation via post not email hopefully they cna sort it out for me
 
I don't think they've used snail mail as confirmation for a very long time.

Hopefully it's just a glitch or maybe they took your email address down wrong. Good luck for today. :wizard:

I called Disneyland this morning and they have advised me they will send me out a new confirmation as its coming via email i would have thought it would be quite instant but 12 hours later still no confirmation :confused3 will give it till Monday now and will phone again!!

I hope you got it, as DLPdaft mentioned it will take 48 hours, the reason being is that the booking system sends a request out to a central office, and the machines there send all the confirmation emails the next day, so there's always an overnight wait. It's always worth asking the CM to double check your email address, sometimes the language barrier, or bad phone connection can be an issue. Rest assured though, that all CMs MUST pass an English test administered by an English mother tongue manager, if they fail they can't take UK calls!
 
I booked online in June and all I've received so far is a confirmation email with my booking no. on it, I rang up about a month ago to see why I didn't receive the usual email with the attachments and the lady told me that they are updating their system but that I could use the booking receipt to check in if I don't receive the other one by the time I'm traveling:3dglasses
