Confirmation in Mail

Is WDW still doing paper snail-mail confirmations of telephone reservations? I received one for my May trip (booked back in the fall) but not for my July trip (booked near the middle of May). After making my ressie over the phone, I received an e-mail within 24 hours confirming it. Of course, my deposit was immediately charged to my bank account. I also can access on-line, so I'm not worried that it's gotten screwed-up. It's just that each trip seems more "real" after receiving that little resort brochure and confirmation in the mail. Just curious.

I asked a CM about that when I called for my upgrade, and mentioned that I had recieved no papers in the mail , they said normally they send stuff 40 days out from your reservation. HTH

I booked by phone about 2 weeks ago for September and got a bill with the balance and the due date within about a week in the mail.

I booked room only ressies at POR last Friday (6/8) and was told I'd have an email confirmation within 24 hours. I never got one, so I called Monday (6/11) and was told that I'd have written confirmation in the mail within 7-10 working days. I guess we'll see.

I only received my confirmation by snail mail. I've never received anything through email and don't know how to check online.

I booked at the end of April for our December trip and I received my snail mail reservation within 10 days. We also changed resorts twice and received both reservation changes by snail mail within 10 days.

So I know they are still doing it.
