confirmation for disney 4/7 deal

I booked the Disney Visa deal two weeks ago over the phone, and today I received a "welcome back" mailing from Disney with pictures of my resort, park maps, etc, but I still haven't received a confirmation with my deposit and what I owe. Should I call or does it take longer?

I would call CRO to make sure that all was well with your reservation. Seems like 7-10 days has been the ballpark figure for getting some sort of confirmation in the mail. Could be yours is just slower than the norm but I would want to make sure that everything was "ok". HTH

I booked the 7/4 deal awhile ago. I received my confirmation about 10 days after. However the confirmation did not state "Paid in Full", but had a date when the balance was due. I called and talked to a not so interested CM and she said that thier records show it paid so there was nothing to worry about. Well this was not good enough for me! I had this fear of arriving and not having any ressie booked. So I called again and got a terrific CM that couldn't have been more helpful! She did her magic and within 4 days I received a modified confirmation with a "Paid in Full" statement. I feel sooooooo much better! I would keep calling until everything shows up the way it is supposed to be!!

It took about ten days also for us to receive our confirmation. We received notice that our final payment was due 45 days before our date of arrival. I had made our final payment the day before, but the funny thing was we received the notice the day the payment was due!

When 3 weeks came and went I finally decided to call. I also had received the "Welcome Back" letter but no confirmation. I finally did receive a confirmation about 8 days later and was glad I followed up on this. They had us down for a guaranteed "smoking" room instead of non-smoking. This would have been a disaster since DD has asthma. There was also no notation of payments made and still showed the full amount due. I am now waiting for a revised confirmation. Definately call - better to be safe.

thanks I got my confirmation today! It didn't have a record of my deposit, though, just showed my full balance. I'll have to wait till I get my VISA bill and see if the deposit is on there before I call. It said on the front "must use Disney Visa to pay" but on the second page it states "send checks to following address." Any thoughts? Guess I'll just call and pay it off with my VISA so we get more Disney dollars that way!

I would suggest you go online a setup a user account on bank one's web site. You'll be able to check your transactions instantly on your credit card.

I did this since one on my cc's was recently duplicated fraudulently.
