I confess that I'm fed up with the sheer amount of stories and movies that use the worn out plot of 'raise the money to save the Farm*' just because it's easy and doesn't require any real storytelling. It's quite boring- where's the moral conflict? Why are there never any stories where they have to raze the farm to save the money?
