We are using a conference after 1pm ticket for the first time next month. How strict are they on the entrance time? If we showed up at 12:55, are they going to make us stand there and wait?

The ticket reader might not recognize it as a valid admission until 1:00 PM. But on another note, be sure you make a reservation for the park you're visiting. I made the mistake of not making a reservation last January, thinking it was unnecessary as that requrement had been discontinued They explained that convention tickets are not "date based" tickets so a reservation was still required.

Yes, I've already made park reservations. thank you for looking out for me!

I remember back when the 2:00pm park-hopping rule was in effect, a number of guests would hang around outside the MK tapstiles at 1:45pm or so. A few minutes went by, and a CM came out and said words to the effect of, "If you have a park-hopping ticket, you can go right in." So we got an extra ten minutes or so. I speculate this would be less likely with convention tickets, as there won't be nearly as many people hanging around shortly before 1:00pm.

I have a convention December 2024, with the ability to buy convention tickets (after 1PM, after 5PM or regular entry).

I'm also going in September 2024. Can I use those tickets for my September visit? Or are they linked to the dates of the convention?

For conference after 1pm tickets, they are usually pretty strict about the entrance time. Arriving at 12:55 might mean you'll have to wait a few minutes until 1pm to get in. It’s always best to follow the specified entry times to avoid any issues. Some people have mentioned using tickpick for their tickets and had a smooth experience. Enjoy your conference!

The tix are good for the week before, week of, and week after your conference. That is my understanding
