Condominium Association Meeting

I was glad to hear that they will have all of the DVC Condo meetings at one venue in December especially since we will be there on that day. Unfortunately, they still have not announced where and at one time it will be. They are probably trying to find a place big enough. We have attended the OKW and BWV meetings when they were held back to back at BW a couple of years ago. Any ideas on where this one will be? Is the Contemporary Convention Center large enough?

I've attended a couple, I don't think they are as big as you think. The Boardwalk convention center could probably handle it with a larger room. I was disappointed with the two I attended. Nothing ground breaking ever happened and some of the promises did not materialize. Like the last one I attended for BWV in 2003 announced coffee tables in the studios and HDTV's. Still waiting. I will be at BWV on that date and will probably attend if it's there. My guess is either BW convention center or SSR theater.

Thanks! You are right. In fact, when the time comes I will probably begin to feel that I am wasting park touring time, but the "free" OJ and coffee is a plus, even if it is only Nescafe.

Darn! I was hoping you were posting with the exact time and place of the meeting, which several of us are waiting for. I've made ADRs for that day, and I'd be really upset if they wait til the last minute, the times conflict with my ADRs and when I go to change my ADRs, nothing is available. Oh, well-if that's the worst that ever happens to me, right? It would be really convenient if they use the Boardwalk Convention Center, since I'm staying in that area. However, I suspect they'll use SSR. Aren't there large convention facilities there? Besides, it would give DVC a chance to show off SSR "just in case" anyone wants to do an add-on as long as they're there.

As the expression goes, "I feel your pain". We would like to know soon,too. We will be at OKW this time, but on the wait list for BWV. The last one we attended was at BWV while we were staying there. It was VERY convenient.
