IMHO, everyone who is able should go to at least one. For those who can't, some kind member who does go usually posts some notes for us all to read.
I went to the BWV annual meeting a few years ago. As I recall (and my memory is a bit fuzzy on it), the first part of the meeting was a standard "taking care of the legalities". Dry. But short.
Then a short presentation about
DVC and future plans. Believe it was the same for all resorts.
Then the DVC/Resort management took a few questions from the audience. Those were quite interesting (and in some cases, entertaining, LOL). For BWV meeting, there were quesitions about AP/PAP discounts, parking issues, food court and some misc/petty housekeeping complaints (not appropriate for the venue IMHO). Also questions about extending MS hours.
Whole thing lasted about an hour. It was nice to see the faces that belonged to the various department managers for the resort. They stayed afterwards if anyone wanted to talk further or about something specific.
I'll be going again this year if it works out (Not sure what our guests will be doing that day). Maybe I'll see you there!
Best wishes -
