Want to have a good steak night while at the World, any major differences between these two restaurants? Which would you prefer?

Thanks,
Sheryl

YS offers the better meal and experience by far. It's one of the best restaurants in WDW - quiet, sober, formal - even if it's somewhat overpriced.

Concourse Steakhouse, on the other hand, is a mediocre steakhouse, of the kind you'll find in your town or city back home. It's good for a no-fuss breakfast (try the Sticky Mickeys) or lunch, but not much more.

While both are very good steak houses.

Concourse is a good choice if you want a great filet, t-bone, prime rib.

YSH offers Chateaubriand for Two, filet, bourbon strip steak, NY strip steak w/ maytag blue cheese. It's a bit more upscale and the meals are a bit more expensive.

Posters have complain that the Concourse is noisey being so close to Chef Mickey's. That didn't bother us -- plus you can always request a table away from the noise.

If I could only pick one on my WDW trip -- would pick the YSH over the Concourse. I love their Chateaubriad! Love the rolls and roasted garlic, too!

Wife & I had a meal at the Yachtsman whilst we were staying at the Beach Club in May this year. Both the service,& meal were of a high standard, but so was the bill, probably the dearest meal we had on that holiday. Nothing like the 2 restaurants asked about, but we ALLWAYS dine at one of the Outback steakhouses in the area at least twice during a normal 2 week stay. The bill for pretty much the same meal would be about a third of what you will pay at the Yachtsman.

My vote is for the Concourse Steakhouse. Have eaten at the Concourse Steakhouse a number of times and have had great service and excellent food.

On the other hand, went to the Yachtsman for an anniversary dinner and the place was out of control. A table of 6 children only (3 in high chairs) were seated next to us while the parents sat at another table. This made for a very unpleasant evening. We were not the only table being disturbed by this group. Felt very sorry for the wait staff but the management did nothing.

Ive never eaten at CC Steakhouse, but we loved YSH on our last trip. We had an amazing meal there.

You should try the Concourse Steakhouse for breakfast. I had the steak and eggs, which was very good. Same steak and a little cheaper then going there for dinner.

YSH is awesome - one of the best restaurants in WDW!! We've been to the world so many times that we've lost count and can honestly say that the CS is without a doubt the worst steak/prime rib we've ever had!!

We ate at the Concourse Steakhouse in early June. The food was ok, but we had terrible service!

Thanks all!
Interesting, no real overwhelming choice of one over the other from the folks who responded.

I appreciate all the feedback.

Yachtsman By far.
But If you really want a good steakhouse you should go to LeCellier in Epcot.

Going back to YSH in Novemeber, last time I got the fillet mignon and oh la la, was it good, pricey but well worth it, also the waitress we had was great :D

Yachtsman--hands down.

We have eaten at both many time, but prefer the Yachtsman by a large margin--in fact, we eat there every trip at least once.
