We have eaten at both restaurants. It really depends upon where you are staying, what resorts you might want to tour, your plans for the evening, etc. The atmosphere at Spoodles is fun...loud and busy. The Concourse Steakhouse is in the upper lobby of the Contemporary, with the monorail going overhead. You will get noise from Chef Mickey's, so it is not a quiet, relaxing meal. Our meal there, food wise was excellent - much better than Spoodles. The service was better, too.
I do not know the ages in your party, but if it is adults, you might want to go over to the Boardwalk, dine and then enjoy an evening at Jellyrolls. We LOVE the dueling pianos there. Our favorite Boardwalk area restaurant is Palio.
Been so long since we did Spoodles that my comments wouldn't be valid. We 've never gone back, so I guess that suggests something--.
Concourse is a "midle of the road" steak place. Basically good, a little noisy due to the location.
