Concourse steakhouse v. Kona Cafe

We are returning to WDW from 11/18 - 11/26 and have chosen most of our dining spots. We need help with the last dinner.

This is our fourth trip, and we have never eaten at the Kona Cafe or Concourse steak house.

Which would you chose for a family with a 7 year old?

My choice would be Kona..the food is wonderful.

Kona, hands down. The food is great, the service is wonderful and the desserts are amazing. This is one of our new favorite restaurants, the kids loved it! We like the CS but did not feel that it was anything special. Our steaks were just OK. I would there again if I was in the area but I would always choose Kona over it.

Another vote for the Kona Cafe. It's one of my favorites.

Slightly off topic, but have you made your ADR's already? I thought that could only be done 90 days out, which in your case, would be August 18th. .
Also, Kona is very good, but Concourse is pretty cool. Watching, but barely hearing the monorail glide overhead. Also, children seem to be in awe over the cavernous ceiling.

No, we have not made our ADR's yet. We just know where we want to go.

We have stayed in the Contemporary tower twice in 2002 and last year with Hurricane Jeane, so I know what you mean about the sound of the monorail.

We loved both, but I think out of the two, I would also vote for Kona - we adored it.
