parrot under your screen name!!!!! Is he/she yours? Does he/she have a name?
I am fascinated with birds but (I'm embarrassed to admit it ) a little bit scared of them too. Maybe because they are just so different from either mammals or reptiles...
I'm guessing you know quite a bit about them since you told us about what they do when they bond to you. (Of course, how some dogs say "hey-howdy" can also be somewhat disconcerting...) Anyway, I'd love to know more...

Yup, that's my biggest baby. His name is coco, he's 10 (his b-day is 2/2), and I've had him for about 3 years. He's also horribly spoiled and has a fit if I dont give him fresh pasta or some other goodies every night for dinner

My other kids include (these ones arent actually pictures of my birds):
A 5 year old Nanday conure named Sparky (short for Spartacus since he's a little fighter).

2 Budgriegars. A blue male named Birdie (very creative), and a yellow one named Sunny.

As of last week, my family now has 2 blue-masked lovebirds, named Elvis and Stormy. Elvis is feisty and loves to sing, where Stormy is very quiet and shy.

I am afraid I will be known as the crazy bird lady in my old age-
I have a classic sailor sparrow tattoo and am getting more birds done next month: the original Tiki Room bird logo.

Aaaand...
We will be getting a pair of owl faced finches next month! Real ones. Not tattoo ones. Ha!

Beautiful birds. I have a grey parrot named Disney. He will eat anything that I do. Sometimes he will refuse food until he sees that I am also eating it. His absolute favorite is tofu (he is vegetarian by default, because I am). He loves me but will bite anyone who isn't me (if they're crazy enough to put a finger in beak's reach) and it HURTS.

He loves dancing to the Tiki Room song.
