What does it mean when someone says they are staying Concierge?

All the deluxe resorts offer Concerige level rooms. This (usually) gives them prime room locations within the hotel (often with great views), access to a Disney Itinerary Planner that can make your PS's for you, book tours, shows, and handle many requests (like having certain merchandise ready and waiting in your room at check in). Once there, you have a special, separate check-in area. You also get access to the Concierge lounge, which will have a continental breakfast every morning, and snacks and drinks all day, and desert, wine, beer and cordials (at most lounges) in the evenings.

All this, of course, costs more (often a lot more) than a standard room at the same hotel. Many people find they break even if they use the lounge for most meals (especially if they were going to stay at a deluxe anyway).
