we have a cat 3 on 4/27 was wondring about the concierge service thanks for any info

Concierge service is wonderful! We had a category 3 and loved it. The concierge team will reserve anything you need including Palo's, just make sure you meet them at the scheduled time and place when you arrive on the ship. You will have a private captains party, trays of food every day at the end of the day, access to movies, and CD's, breakfast delivered to your room (at no extra cost), pop will be in your room when you arrive (at no extra cost), and basically anything you need, they will be there to help you.
Enjoy your cruise!

What is the private captain's party? Also we had a small dish of minimal snacks, not a tray of food. What type of food did you have? Who was the concierge on your cruise? How many people did you have in a Cat 3

we had 5 people and got cheese and crackers a few times, fruit a few times a dessert tray one night which was really good... um, there was pop and water in our room when we arrived and a basket of fruit also. I never took advantage of the breakfast in room, but im sure its great.

The private captain's party was a gathering for just the people with a concierge service. It was an opportunity to meet the captain, and his team. They had a beautiful display of food and drinks. The food in the room was lots of desserts, including a chocolate model of the ship! Yum Yum!
It was just the four of us in the room (two adults, two children).
Our conceirge team was Stephanie and Joy. They were wonderful.

We very much enjoyed the concierge service. They are SO attentive to your needs. Another benefit was being able to order FULL breakfast and FULL dinner as room service, if you wanted. We did this for breakfast and it was great! Also, we got a variety of snacks each night...cheeses, chocolates, gifts for the kids (arcade cards, coloring books, etc.) and a towel animal each night. The reception was great. Since it was small, it was nice to share a few moments of personal time.

I wish I could recall the names but, regardless, they made our trip extra special. One of my favorite benefits was on the last night, they stopped by to say farewell and presented us with a book signed by the concierge staff. It's on the making of the ship. Apparently, a VERY hard book to obtain elsewhere.

I would say enjoy the cruise and the concierge service but I know that you will.

we are cruising on 4/20 in a cat.3, does the conceirge service also include reserving baby sitting or am i on my own?

We love our hard cover book on the making of the ship also. We also received a "captains trading card", the captian said they were very hard to get ahold of - but I'm not sure what to do with it!
If you need to reserve babysitting I'm sure the concierge will look after it for you, as they are VERY attentive, however, I'm not sure if there would be an extra cost for the service. I have a feeling you would have to pay for the babysitting, as that would be considered an "extra" .
