Concierge Menu

Hello we just got back from our cruise and are ready to book again! We want to book concierge but not sure if its worth the price difference. We have 3 small children so we had to take several nap trips to our room and we did use our room service. Does anyone have a recent concierge menu they can share?

When in concierge your room service menu is whatever main dining room you are assigned to that day.

Just off the 3-night Dream concierge. We had the one-bedroom suite, and there you can order dinner off any of the MDR menus. We took advantage of that when our youngest was exhausted one night.

Snacks in the lounge would make a light meal--little sandwiches (fancy ones though), cheese, fruits, etc.

We also ran down to Flo's and got salads and sandwiches and brought them back to the room.

We always do breakfast from the lounge, take it back to the room and eat on the verandah. Nice, light, and easy.

Do you mean for the food presentations in the lounge? There is no set menu. You could always pop in the lounge anytime during the day for something to eat.They have continental breakfast in the morning, assorted meat and cheese at lunch, high tea later in the day, appetizer type things near dinner and desserts at the end of the night. .

We were in a 1 bedroom in September and there were main dining room menus in the concierge lounge. Everybody has to order from the same menu, no mixing of items from multiple main dining rooms.

That's what we were told the first day of our cruise. However, they started letting us order from all over. My sister and I would usually get Palo and the kids from somewhere else (they weren't into the Palo food) and my dessert from wherever they made creme brulee. However, I think that food allergies played a big part on their giving us leeway on the standard policy.

Palo is usally limited to the Cat. R's only. They also have an enhanced breakfast menu with hot food.

Ya, I guess I should have said that. The in-suite breakfast was our favorite meal of the day! I'd do breakfast for dinner if they let me. They bring you a boatload of food. Going to their breakfast buffet was really stressful for me.

At all times, the regular state rooms can only order from the room service menu.

In concierge, for dinner, you can order from the room service menu or any of the MDRs (all the food must come from the same MDR). For non-dinner time, you can only order from the room service menu. In addition to that, the two cat-R suites can order from Palo menu for dinner and hot breakfast. When a cat-R orders Palo, you can order as much food as you want. This is the only way that <18yo can experience Palo.

On dream and fantasy does that (ordering from mdr menu) include category V as well? I don't think so as it hasn't been mentioned to us. But maybe I missed something.

Cat S on Magic and Wonder have been ordering Palo in room, not advertised but is occurring.

Apart from that I would give the advice......speak to your concierge, there are black and white rules laid down, but rules are for guidance of wise hosts.


I have experienced service outside the advertised parameters here.

I will not post more as then it becomes expected or the surprise goes, it will be down to concierges discretion, but do not ask or angle for it, talk about your family needs and what will make the cruise better or problems you encounter.

We were in a Cat. S this past May. Yes, it was explained to us by the Concierge that Palo delivery is a perk for the Cat. R and S. Room service from multiple dining rooms and such are at the discretion of the Concierge. In my experience it seems the the Concierge team on the Classics have a "broader" interpretation of the rules.

We haven't been able to order in a v, I think the lack of a table is the reason given. would be nice if we could anyways!

I'm really glad I wasn't missing something.

Since category V exists (and since it's what we book) I think it's really important to be clear when listing out perks.

I don't think anybody mentioned it...but for hot breakfast in a category T we had to place our order the night before and then we got to choose form 3 set times (I think 8:30, 9:00 and 9:30)...so it wasn't like you just got to call on a whim and get whatever hot breakfast you wanted, whenever you wanted it. We still liked it and got it several mornings, but something to keep in mind.

I felt like dinner from the main dinning room also had similar limitations regarding advanced ordering and delivery times. In Alaska if we got back late from an excursion it wasn't like we could just decide to order room service...so it wasn't really a perk we used.

I got sea sick sailing out of Cozumel and had spoken with Rodrigo who sent a plate of green apples and a 6 pack of Ginger Ale personally to the room. When he realized I had sent the rest of the family to dinner, had me get out onto the balcony and order from the MDR menu as he felt I would be able to eat later once getting some fresh air. He was right and I had a white tablecloth full dinner spread brought to the room especially for me. It was an unexpected surprise that did make me feel better on a crummy night.

we were on the Fantasy in April and didn't pre-order breakfast. Just called room service in the AM and it was all brought up shortly thereafter.
