Concierge level at Jambo house came through!

Our waitlist came through for DD and myself. We got a Studio for September 19-22. So excited! Any advice anyone can give about a room request or how club level works is appreciated. This is our first time at any Club Level. Thanks!

Aren’t there only five studios for club level? You barely see anything based on where it is.

There are only 5 2 bedrooms on the floor…so, given that, I do t think it’s possible to even request.

But, we did a one night stay in March and it was nice. You have access to different things through out the day and they have tables set up to sit and enjoy!!

We stayed there in May and had first room on the right. Pool view and near the elevator. Pretty sure there are 2 studios overlooking the pool and 3 overlooking a savannah. They served a continental breakfast, snacks midday, light dinner, and had ice cream and other desserts later in the evening. I might still have a copy of the hours. Do the rooms have a typical studio set up-pull out couch and Queen bed? Can I also assume that there is a kitchenette?

Yes, standard deluxe studio layout with queen bed and pull out sofa. There is a mini-fridge and coffee maker and a sink across from the bathroom.

None of them have a great view, honestly. We request the room closest to the lounge and it's damn convenient. They have a few different serving periods throughout the day. If you google, you can probably find a good review but its like early morning coffee, then breakfast, then light lunch stuff and snacks, then appetizer type stuff that could be dinner and then desert, coffee and cordials.

We really enjoy the few times we get to book the DVC Club rooms at AKL. The breakfast is really good, and we'll use that most mornings of our stay. Evening apps and desserts are really good and lots of fun! As mentioned previously, there are so few DVC Club rooms, you'll not get much of a 'request'. But all the rooms are in the same area, on the 6th floor overlooking the main lobby of Jambo House. Keep in mind that Club Level is for the regular 'cash' hotel, as well, and there are way more cash guests doing Club than DVC. But it's the only DVC Club option for direct booking, and we love it. It can get busy at certain times (like breakfast). There are times we'll grab a breakfast plate and take it back and sit on the balcony. If you have any issues or questions or needs during your stay, you can stop by the Club Level concierge desk and they'll help with whatever they can. Enjoy your stay - that's a nice surprise for you!
