We are planning our yearly trip to Disney and currently have a resv @ GF concierge. I have read some horror stories lately about how guests were treated. Does anyone have anything good to say about the GF. How about the Poly concierge??? Any good reports on that???

dennis (or lisa?) :p

I've had fantastic service with the GF concierge. And yes, I even had towel animals ha ha ha

I'd say based on my experience you can't go wrong..I'm sorry others had a bad experience :(

Yes, I too have read the posts. Heck, I, too, even had a bad experience. And no, I am not a glutton for punishment as to "WHY" I KEEP returning to the GF. Georgina and Roger more than made up for my bad experience at the GF. And there is a reason why it is so appropriately named - it is GRAND, after all. There is no better place to complete your Disney experience. It's calming, it's romantic (if you want it to be), it's great for solo trips, it is ....just........GRAND.

Dennis & Lisa,

We had a fantasic trip to the GF RPC this past July. Our room was great and every staff member that we came in contact with, was very nice. This is one of the "Grandest" hotels that I have ever stayed at. Just one evening of sitting in the concierge lounge, sipping your wine as you listen to the house orchestra play, will tell you that you made the right choice.

Enjoy!

We were at the Poly Concierge in May and really loved it. We had a few issues with our rooms not being ready when they were suppose to be and the elevators not working, but received a $400 credit from Disney after filling out their survey. We were surprised and pleased.

Despite these issues, we loved the place and plan to stay there again in 2 years. You won't regret it.

We have not stayed in RPC but we've done Sugar Loaf once for nine days and Poly concierge on two trips. We're returning to both...Poly in Oct. and Sugar Loaf in Dec.. We enjoyed both very much. No nightmares at either.
