We're going to be staying at the BWI Concierge in October and I am trying to get our PS's together. We will be staying on the silver plan and plan to use our wishes for meals most days. We were thinking of using them for either a late breakfast or early lunch, plus dinner each day. Do those of you who have stayed in the concierge before think that the breakfast offerings are enough to hold you over for a few hours until a sit down meal? We're not big breakfast eaters. Is it mostly just coffee and drinks or will there be some toast and fruit or something along those lines?

bump, anyone, please??
Moderators, thanks for moving this from the restaurant board, I wasn't sure where it belonged :)

i have not stayed at bwi but at POLY CR and GF and they had coffie juice cereal bagels muffins pasterys fruit yogert and other items i can't remember. i hope this helps. P.S. *********** has a lot of info on the hotels.

I have stayed at contemporary concierge - and it was more than ample for a breakfast - bagels, muffins, bananas, strawberries, peaches, oranges, three different cereals, milk, oraneg juice, apple juice, cranberry juice, danishes, cinimon rolls

it was great to wake up... have everything right there - no wasted dowm time going to a restaurant - just get up - eat hit the park

We were at BWI at the end of June this year and the concierge was awesome for Breakfast. They had a great selection of pastries and stuff. They had this one pastry which had chocolate inside that we loved. They also had small croissants and other offerings. Breakfast is the one service that you can actually make a meal out of. It may have been my timing, but I hardly ever saw other people around, maybe a family or two. Everyone was wonderful. Say hello to Margaret and Mercedes (curly hair and from the D.R.) for us. All the hostesses were great.

There was only a meager lunch offering so don't count on lunch there. At dinnertime their offering usually consists of one awesome snackfood like "Lobster turnovers" (about two inches long), meatballs or "Chicken Wellington". they also provide cheese and other items. Not something to make a meal out of, but it will get you started or finish you off.

The last offering consisted of small deserts and cordials. Really nice. Everything was delicious. You can view the Epcot fireworks off the lunge balcony at 9:00PM when they have them.

My overall impression of the BWI concierge was that it is excellent.

Enjoy!

You'll definitely be able to have enough for breakfast. Genreally there are a variety of cereals, muffins, bagels, pastries, breads, fruit, yogurt, instant oatmeal, coffee, tea, juice, milk, etc.

And I agree with the other poster--Mercedes is wonderful! :)

We usually carried out fresh whole fruit like a banana or pear to get us through the 11:00 hour while in a park.

Tons of food at breakfast from the fresh fruit to the pastries to the breakfast breads for toasting with butter, cream cheese, jams, peanutbutter etc... AKL has hot oatmeal, not sure about BWI - but they will also have lots of cold cereals.

You will have plenty for breakfast.
