Has anyone ever used points to stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Washington? If so, how was the place? Where is it located?

The DC Mandarin is very beautiful, but is somewhat out of the way even though it is right in DC. You can walk to sites from there and cabs are always available.

Wolfpack,
That hotel is pretty new for DC so that will probably hinder responses from DVC members...........however, they do have a $250,000 inauguration package available..........a butler will even come to your house to pack :D
It looks very nice from the outside.

How many points is that? ;) :) ;);) :teeth:

I haven't stayed there yet. But I have reservation to stay with my son for Easter week in March.

The hotel's website makes the place look beautiful and they have an indoor swimming pool. (Something to help soak those tired feet after a long day at the museums.)

:D I can't wait to try it.

I'm thinking there was a "Great Hotels" episode on the Travel Channel about one of the resorts in this chain and seems either it was DC or SF but am not certain.
