Just curious why you think that GF RPC is $1000 more then Poly GV CL. Is RPC that much "better" then Poly CL?

IMHO you pay 4 the location. Now you even pay for theme park view, which you never had to before!
The ROC is in the main building of the GF which is absolutely amazing!! I loved the Poly-CL was amazing..I also loved their Main Bldg-where you check in & the restaurants are..but you stay in longhouses & I would say that the GF RPC is all in the main bldg with the monorail right there.
Neither is "better" it's a matter of preference..
My kids loved the volcano pool @ the Poly..I think it's nice to check out each resort..each one has something special!!

Thank you!! Sounds great! I'll have to research further where the deluxe rooms are, but that's no problem, we don't live in the CL, we just make occas. visits & I have teenagers! Lol
The transportation thing I was worried about, but now I feel better! Thx!!!

You're welcome :goodvibes. You're going to have a great trip. I hope you love the WL as much as we do :wizard:.

Thank you all for so much valuable information. Just one more question: if you do a split stay is it any easier or more convenient to move if your staying CL as opposed to a regular room?

thank you, thank you!! I'm starting to really get excited now! I showed my DD the picture I found of the water slide & she's so excited!!

What discount code did you see it under? The FD or RO? I looked at it with the FD code & it was a few hundred dollars more than my Deluxe WL booked & more than my GV BC CL.. It looks absolutely beautiful & the 2 bathrooms would be great! Except it only sleeps 4 & I have 2 teenagers-a son & a daughter who definitely wouldn't want to share a pull out sofa-lol!
Although yesterday when I called to modify my reservation-I added the FD to my BC ressie-& then I asked about WL Deluxe..I really didn't think it was included under FD because I checked the website (@ 4am when everything was already loaded) & it showed up under a full price ressie, but not w. FD. I asked my CM & I was SO excited to hear that it was!!

It was under room only. Still pricy, but a deal if that's what you want. I did read that there are some cottages where the upstairs is not wide open, so it could work for a family - if they wanted to sleep on the couch :)
That's awesome that you got the FD!!

It's the same whether you stay CL or not. You can either take your luggage to bell services or call from your room and they will come get it :).

I'm glad everyone is excited.....you are going to love it :yay:. We love everything about the WL, with the pool being one of our favorites :goodvibes.

So this will be my first time staying CL at a resort...we'll be at AKL CL. Is there any benefit to making ADR's through the intinerary planning office? Like do they get access to different reservation times that maybe aren't open to everyone? I'm asking becasue we are looking for a specific ADR and online nothing is showing available. The IP said they would keep an eye out for me, but I am a bit of a control freak and would rather watch the site (and the Cancelled ADR thread) myself. However if he can see things that maybe I can't I will let it go.

The IPO typically have the same access to the system as you. Unfortunately, they don't have any extra pull. But, if you are watching and they are watching you've got two sets of eyes on trying to get the ADR you want. Good luck! :goodvibes

IPO will keep watching if there is a specific hard to get ADR that you want, but they do not have any pull as far as getting you in at a restaurant that is booked. I have never used IPO for any of our CL stays as I like to make my own ADRs, but if I were you, I would keep checking myself daily multiple times a day, but I would also let IPO know about it so they can check as well. Good luck.

Is there a category I can book into that would guarantee not having a second floor room. I would hate to not have either a balcony or a patio. View isn't important but access to outside is. It's the only thing holding me back from booking the Poky.

Thank you! I loved that garden cottage, it just wouldn't work for us-I think of I could've gotten a Deluxe CL room @ BWI-I would've preferred the location, but we love to try something new, so we'll see!! Hope it works for you!

Unfortunately, no. All views/categories have rooms on all floors.

My initial reservation was with AKL CL, they CM's at IPO are awesome. They made all of my reservations for our restaurants- including Be Our Guest, specialty cruise- Dive Quest and MNSSHP. I could not have been more happy with AKL IPO! The only reason we switched to the Poly CL, is the new RO discount was not available for my original AKL CL reservation. I had to switch to the Poly to get a RO discount.

I hear you on not wanting to have the second floor. I put down 1st floor as our 1st request and 3rd floor as our second request. The resort looks really busy when we are going 10-3 10-9, so I hope that we can get either one.

What time does turn down service usually occur on club level? Specifically, I'm wondering about WL. Thanks :)

Thanks! They've been wonderful thus far. I've used them for a few ADR's we've added on plus Sunrise Safari and WDP. They've been great and very fast to respond usually with good news. There is one ADR in particular though neither them or I can find...and of course it happens to be on the day of my DS's 4th birthday...so I'm stressin over it! :badpc: Wasn't sure if it was best to let them handle it or not. Thanks for the reassurance though! :goodvibes Fingers crossed!

Don't give up hope. Keep checking for that ADR as people cancel all the time and you never know when something might become available :).

Oh believe me...I'm stalking the site obssessively :surfweb: :)

On another note would it be considered acceptable to bring b-fast back our room? Staying at AKL we'd like to bring it back and eat it on our balcony watching the savannah's. Also, is it acceptable for just 1 of us to go and bring back for everyone? We are a family of 4 with 2 little ones...so either 1 person goes for all or we trek the whole family along usually.

Good luck.....I hope you get what you want pixiedust:.

Yes, you can certainly take food back to your room :thumbsup2. And it's also perfectly fine for just 1 person to go down to the lounge and get food/drinks for everyone and take it back to the room. A lot of people do that while others are getting ready or in your case, have little ones and don't want to trek down to the lounge with the little ones in tow ;).

Thank you so much for the info! :thumbsup2

One more question for ya...can we still do online check-in 60 days out? :confused3
