Thanks! I am so excited. I have a nut allergy and was thinking of calling them. Should I wait until closer? We booked late only 6 weeks to go!

I currently have a split stay coming Poly GV CL/ GF RPC...

thinking of booking value first 2 nights to do all RPC:lovestruc

Based on experience....would you do that? Or keep the split the way it is? We are going in the end of May..driving...myself, DH, and 5 kiddos..We stayed at Sugarloaf...and my kids adore GF....they also like the theming at Poly...we have never done CL at Poly....HELP!

Keep CL POLY!!! :lovestruc You all know you love it there.....then move onto your GF RPC stay.....Perfect compromise, I think! I think you will LOVE CL :lovestruc

Well, if I recall correctly, DH LOVES Poly and so do the kiddos. (BTW, I'm checking your ticker as I type to make I'm not too late in responding:rolleyes1). I don't recall how many nights you have booked at each resort, but could you swing a shorter stay at the KKC and a longer stay at RPC? I'm thinking the natives might get restless if you take Poly out entirely and replace it (in their mind) with a Value:confused3

I know...I want more GRAND time....:headache: I am trying.....really!!!

No changes....my head is spinning....I have most of the kiddos for the GF!!! DH didn't know about RPC, I brought it up....he said whatever I want!!! We only have 3 RPC nights....in order to get more RPC nights, I would have to give up KKC and do POly without CL...which would be nice too....but argh!!!! So my thought...value first 2 nights (do Seaworld maybe, or DHS) It IS SWW....and then do a week at RPC :cloud9: I want a balcony...I want the Grand, but I don't want to make the family crazy either (too late :rolleyes1) I will number crunch tomorrow...time for :rolleyes1shower, and then work!

I forgot that DH didn't know about RPC. I'd be a little worried about changing over to just RPC if DH doesn't even know, but he did know about the KKC. Won't he be even more suspicious if you book just a couple of Value nights?

Could you do just the KKC and then for your next trip do all RPC? I just don't want DH to be disappointed if he's expecting the Poly, but he instead gets a Value and RPC, kwim?

This is what I was going to suggest :goodvibes.

Hi Kook

We've never stayed Poly CL, but have stayed RPC and all I can say is RPC is amazing :goodvibes. The Poly is our favorite resort (with the GF very close behind, namely RPC), and if I could have more nights in RPC, but still get my beloved Poly, that would be my choice. I'm not sure how many nights total you're staying, but I would try to split it evenly between the two, ending in RPC :cloud9:. Having stayed both SL and RPC, to me, SL doesn't even compare. If I wasn't able to stay RPC, I would choose a regular GV over SL, but that's just me ;). Good luck deciding, but I know exactly how you feel as I've been through these kinds of decisions myself in the past and it's not easy :sad2:.

I just got the AKL IPO email today!!!! So excited! I am having trouble w/it though. It won't go past page 2. Do I have to fill out all the info on page 2 b4 it will go to page 3 or is there a problem w/it?

I have never been able to get past page two either. I've tried every Mac we own, and assume it's a compatibility issue with the Mac OS. What I do is I email the IPO and tell them the problem (so maybe they'll mention it to IT and fix it someday;)). I ask them to attached the "PIP form" (they know what this is). You just fill it out and email it back to them. Some IPOs automatically just attach the PIP form, others, like AKL, use the Disney Destinations link that doesn't go past page 2:upsidedow

When next we go to the world, we will have 5+ baby. We have stayed at WL and loved it (transportation, theming, etc). We are considering staying at a Standard CL room at BWI next time, as it would accommodate 5+baby and would still have great proximity to parks and transportation. However, it wouldn't be much more for us to stay in a Deluxe room at WL.

If you had the choice, what might you choose, and why?

Thanks!

I would choose WL because of its transpiration options and close proximity to MK.

Okay. So it's mainly b/c I'm on a Mac? My DH has a laptop I could try instead then. Otherwise I will ask for the PIP form.
Thanks!

I just spoke to AKL IPO. I could not be more excited! We may be adding another day so that we can do the sunset safari.

Please tell me if it is worth it. My 5 yr old decided 3 years ago she wanted to be a monkey doctor. She loves animals so we are considering it. It is more money though....

Boardwalk Inn because you are within walking distance of both Epcot and Hollywood Studios. Plus in my opinion their Club Level Cast Members are simply the best set of people you will ever meet.

Here are some differences you should consider in making your decision:

~The Deluxe room at WL is larger than a STD room at BWI. It also has two balconies and two TVs with a sitting area that has a sleeper sofa.

~The Deluxe room at WL is not on the CL floor - there are 25 Deluxe rooms located on floors 1-6.

~Transportation to the MK is by bus only from BWI. (Unless you walk all the way to the front of Epcot and take the monorail to the TTC.)

~Transportation to the MK from WL is by boat or direct bus or boat to CR and walk to MK.

~Transportation to Epcot from WL is by bus or you can take the boat to the CR and then the monorail to the first stop - the TTC - Epcot.

~You can walk or boat to DHS and Epcot from BWI.

~You can walk or bus to FW from WL.

~WL has a beach with a playground.

~WL has the Cub's Den on premises. At BWI, you'd have to use the Sandcastle Club at the YC.

~BWI is within walking distance of a HESS Station.

~WL has the Electric Water Pageant and Wishes nearby.

~BWI has Illuminations nearby and from some BW rooms you can see some of Wishes.

~WL has a Quick Serve on premises.

~BWI is a convention resort, WL is not.

My suggestion would be a split-stay and doing BWI first and saving the known entity, WL, for last. That's what we'll be doing next week - BWI/CL for 4 nights and WL/CL for 6 nights. We just love the lounge and staff at WL, but we're also looking forward to trying BWI's CL for the first time.

:surfweb:If you'd like more information on either resort, the WL and BWI threads are hyperlinked in my signature:)

I've always had the same problem, but IPO told me it was a general issue.
I just assumed it was a Mac OS incompatibility and not worth their time to fix. If it's a general problem, then they need to fix it. It's been like this since they started using the online form:sad2:

Kook I agree. I assumed the same thing but they said it's a general issue. Of course CM info accuracy is about as high as a rock's IQ so I'd take it with a grain of salt.

The IPO form doesn't work. I have tried to fill out one for the GF, the Poly and the BC and have the same problem with page 2. I have tried on my Dell PC, my husband's laptop, my iPad and the same thing always happens. I point it out to them each time it doesn't work and nothing gets done. It is really rather appalling they don't fix the problem. I now just send an email with my information to the IPO email address.

I have not stayed Cl at either, but I have stayed at both resorts. I liked Wl enough, but my kids did not enjoy the pool at WL. They are older than your kids so a slide matters. My dh thought it was boring. I love the BW. The location is great, rooms are pretty, the pool slide satifies my kids. I would give it a try.

Don't forget you can also watch Illuminations from the BWI Innkeeper's Club lounge, which is great if you reserved a Standard Club Level Room and ended up with a Boardwalk/Crescent Lake View.
