The IPO form doesn't work. I have tried to fill out one for the GF, the Poly and the BC and have the same problem with page 2. I have tried on my Dell PC, my husband's laptop, my iPad and the same thing always happens. I point it out to them each time it doesn't work and nothing gets done. It is really rather appalling they don't fix the problem. I now just send an email with my information to the IPO email address.

Same here. I've tried it on my Mac as well as on three different browsers on a PC (Chrome, Firefox, IE). Never works. So, like Jungle Cruiser, I just send them an email with all the information they need.

I forgot that DH didn't know about RPC. I'd be a little worried about changing over to just RPC if DH doesn't even know, but he did know about the KKC. Won't he be even more suspicious if you book just a couple of Value nights?

Could you do just the KKC and then for your next trip do all RPC? I just don't want DH to be disappointed if he's expecting the Poly, but he instead gets a Value and RPC, kwim?
He DIDN't know about RPC...but he said go for it....the value would help me afford RPC...IDK...I think a change may be coming :goodvibes

This is what I was going to suggest :goodvibes.

Hi Kook

We've never stayed Poly CL, but have stayed RPC and all I can say is RPC is amazing :goodvibes. The Poly is our favorite resort (with the GF very close behind, namely RPC), and if I could have more nights in RPC, but still get my beloved Poly, that would be my choice. I'm not sure how many nights total you're staying, but I would try to split it evenly between the two, ending in RPC :cloud9:. Having stayed both SL and RPC, to me, SL doesn't even compare. If I wasn't able to stay RPC, I would choose a regular GV over SL, but that's just me ;). Good luck deciding, but I know exactly how you feel as I've been through these kinds of decisions myself in the past and it's not easy :sad2:.
We loved Sl, so if RPC is better well..enough said. I LOVE Poly too, the grounds, but not the rooms.....JMHO. I just am in my happy place at GF :lovestruc I made my mind up...BUT I want to make EVERYONE happy...not easy with 7 of us  I was thinking Poly GV and then RPC but RPC is a lot of bucks (well worth it to me...but I probably can't swing both) we book 2 rooms:scared1:
When next we go to the world, we will have 5+ baby. We have stayed at WL and loved it (transportation, theming, etc). We are considering staying at a Standard CL room at BWI next time, as it would accommodate 5+baby and would still have great proximity to parks and transportation. However, it wouldn't be much more for us to stay in a Deluxe room at WL.

If you had the choice, what might you choose, and why?

Thanks!
Well Ms Kook is perfect to help you with this...

One factor...location...will you be more MK or more Epcot...if MK-WL, if Epcot/DHS-BWI

With a baby....I'd do the deluxe room, you have a separate parlor for when babe naps...and you'll still get an Excellent Club level.

Can anyone answer my question? We stayed CL BC in August and they were keeping the lounge open 24hrs with pop, water and a few daytime snacks. Is this still the case? Or have they gone back to closing it after 11pm? We will be there in 10 days and my DD wants to know if she can get Swedish fish at 2am.

That's a tough choice as we've stayed at the WL twice (although not in a deluxe room) and we love the resort.....and BWI CL is at the top of our list to try. But with that said, I don't think you can go wrong with either one as we had a great CL stay at the WL and I have read nothing but great things about BWI CL :goodvibes.

I think you made a great choice......you will love RPC :goodvibes. I can only imagine how it is to make 7 people happy along with having to book 2 rooms :rolleyes1......I only have DH and 2 DSs to please and sometimes that proves to be challenging :rotfl:. It will all be worth it, though, when you're relaxing in the RPC lounge listening to the band playing :cloud9:.

We were there last week. Lounge was open 24hrs (except when prepping for bkft and appetizers) with soft drinks in the fridge and the coffee machine running (when it wasn't out of order). Don't recall water.
Swedish fish, yogurt pretzel and trail mix available.

I'm guessing this is only the case at BC? We are now booked at BWI CL, and from what I've read the lounge closes at 10pm.

Sophie832-That is correct about the BWI CL. The doors are open from 6:30am and close promptly at 10pm.

Since it's closed, you might want to fill a cup with Swedish Fish:fish: for late-night/early morning cravings;)

What we won't do for our kids:rotfl:

ETA: Was mixing-up BWI with BC, which IS open - sorry:flower3:

So so true! My DD woke up to use the restroom and said how much she loved the Swedish fish. I asked her if she wanted to run down in our jammies and grab some and she said of course! She is still talking about it! Funny how they remember the little things, isn't it?

It really isn't easy...and they are still young!!!!! Now Iam deciding splurge for TPV or not...it wasn't available til now...might not be by the time I chat with DH  But......
this will be perfect, the GF IPO has been super attentive with all my needs, much more than Poly was...again JMHO (I'm pretty needy ) That's for the positive thoughts!!! :goodvibes

Ain't it the truth :rotfl:

You're right about that. It's the out of the ordinary things that they especially remember. And even when it seems insignificant at the time, years later they'll tell you every little detail. I bet your DD remembers what PJs she was wearing.

Looks like we'll be at WDW around the same time - I hope "our" weather is rain-free:thumbsup2

Hi, Jeanette!

That's an understatement for you - you do EVERYTHING for everyone else. You need to do TPV for youself. The kids will just have to suffer:rotfl:

Hi there,

I'm considering booking the Poly for a short Anniversary trip for 3 or 4 nights.

Thought about doing CL but budget limits us to Garden View CL.

Has anybody stayed GV CL before at POLY? How "bad" is the view? ;)

It adds an extra $400 on to the room charges. I was thinking of then getting rid of the Dining Plan.

Thoughts or advice are most welcome!!:)

Last summer, I booked Poly/GV/CL. I had some concerns about the view, too. As it turned out, we were doing a split and one day into our first split (WL/CL), we canceled our Poly split and stayed 12 nights at WL. Anyway, we ate at Kona one day and decided to take a close-up look at the GV/CL room view from the outside. They all face the pool house and/or quiet pool. Some room views on the end, near the lounge, are obstructed with trees and some in the middle are as well.

So no, I haven't stayed in a GV/CL room at the Poly (only non-CL GV), but I personally didn't like it much when I looked at them in person. I'd hate having the big tree in front of my balcony:upsidedow.

The LVs and TPVs are so amazing at the Poly (perfect for your anniversary:love:), that if a view is important to you, I would probably book a LV w/o CL before I'd book a GV/CL. If the view really doesn't matter as much as having CL, then I think you'd be happy with the GV.

Here is a link to a video taken from a GV/CL room, the room view starts at 8:20:

This video is shorter, but shows just the view, which should help you to make your decision:

Yes, it's still open 24 hours. That's one of the reasons I love the BC CL the best.

We stayed there for my birthday weekend and it was great. They had the most incredible Lobster salad one evening :cloud9:.

Hi!
I just upgraded to WL CL for our July/August trip. Will IPO contact me or should I send an email to them? My son's 10th birthday falls right in the middle of our trip and our daughter's 8th birthday is in July - 2 weeks before we go. I wanted to speak with a CM about setting up something special if possible.

Is it ok to send them an email?

Thank you!

Mine are teens and are much more opinionated now on which resort they want to stay at than when they were younger :rotfl: :rotfl:. Are you thinking an outer building TPV instead of RPC or RPC TPV? The only reason I ask is because if being close to the lounge is important to you, I think the main building TPV rooms are farther away from the lounge. My favorite RPC view is of the beach pool/Poly, but that view is somewhat hindered by the DVC construction :(.

I have always wanted to try Poly CL, but I am very hesitant due to the (many) negative reviews I've read about it lately. What are your opinions on Poly CL? Would you stay there again? TIA :flower3:.

I can't remember if their Coffee machine was 24 hours, but the Club Level lounge at the Polynesian is also open 24 hours and their fridge is always stocked with cans of Coca Cola, Diet Coke and Sprite.

My kids are very opinionated, and they're only grade school age. I haven't stayed CL at Poly, but I will be sure to let you know what I think in about 6 weeks. I love the Poly, but we have only stayed in Samoa and Tokelau.

We started going to Disney when our kids were 6 & 8 and they were thrilled with any resort. Now that they're 17 and (almost) 19, they have a habit of voicing their opinions a little more . I don't mind it, though, because we all love the deluxes and I tell them as long as they choose a deluxe resort we're good :goodvibes. I will look forward to your review of Poly CL. We've only had 1 stay at the Poly and that was all we needed to fall in love with the resort. With that said, I have since wanted to try CL, but I have read so many negative things about it that I am very hesitant to spend the extra money, so I will be looking forward to another (recent) opinion of it ;).
