We checked out of BWI-CL Standard room on Monday. It was our first CL stay and our first BWI stay. We loved both! I agree with what every one here has said about the staff. they are amazing! We particularly loved Michael, Mary, and most especially, Lorenzo! He went way out of his way for us without us asking. What an asset he is to Disney and the Boardwalk!
We were right next door to the Lounge, 4232. The location was perfect! Probably the best we've ever had at WDW!
Thanks to every one here for posting! It really helped us make up our mind when we made our reservation.

So glad you had a wonderful stay at BWI CL! :goodvibes It really is a wonderful, relaxing place. :thumbsup2 I love it! I especially think it's a great get-away from the hustle and bustle of the parks. So peaceful, quiet, serene...:lovestruc It's a hidden gem! :wizard:

I need help from my fellow dis cl experts, to make a decision on when to buy tickets.

We are defintitely travelling to WDW next March. The flights are paid for and we have a YC CL room only reservation. So, worst case scenario we will be in a full rack rate room at the YC CL. (love it when the worst case scenario is CL at WDW! :cloud9:) Best case scenario I find some way to save a few dollars, rather than the full rack rate.

I'm trying to decide if I need to switch from a room only reservation to a package before the 180-day mark to book my ADRs. I have to get the IPO to book my ADRs in September. If I switch to a package at another CL, after my ADRs are booked, will my ADRs still be there for me?

I figure I have the following options:
  • Stick with a room only reservation and ask the IPO to add tickets to it sometime before we arrive (full price for everything)
  • Switch to a full price package now, so that my room, tickets and ADRs are all connected to the same confirmation number
  • Book my ADRs in September and switch to a package if a discount comes out that allows me to stay in an Epcot resort CL room (I'm willing to switch to BC or BWI, but no other resort is on our list)
  • Keep the room only reservation, but pay it in full if the Canadian dollar soars above the American dollar in the coming weeks (If I pay it in full, can I get a refund if I switch to a discount package at a future date?)

Like most of us, I'm just obsessing about my vacation and right now my focus is on hoping for a way to save a few dollars.

Interested in any opinions from my fellow experts. :)

You don't need to book a package to book ADR's, in fact you don't need any reservation to book ADRs. Your ADR's aren't really linked to your reservation. If you cancel your room only for a better package deal in the future you won't loose your ADRs.

The only thing your reservation has to do with ADRs is that you have to have some sort of reservation (package or room only) to book the 180+10 days. If you don't have a reservation you can only book the 180s day then have to call every day to get the next day of your trip.

If you overpay they will refund the difference. Not sure how it takes to get the refund-I think it depends on how you paid.

Thanks, this helps.

I think I'll just sit on the room only reservation for now. Back to thinking about what ADRs to book. :)

Thanks so much for the review! One of our boys (our most adventurous eater) was asking about the evening appetizers in BWI club lounge - do you remember what they served?

One month from today is when my 1st Club Level stay at the Beach Club will be happening, so I am looking forward to it and to see how it compares with the Club Level service at the Boardwalk Inn.

silly question.. What beers do they offer at the YC Cl? :)

I have no idea, but would like to know this too. I prefer dark beer but I'm doubtful they stock that.

For a sillier question, can we ask for beer/wine instead of the cordials? I don't really care for them except kahlua - what do they have to mix that with?

From 8:00 PM - 10:00 PM they still keep out the Wine with their various Cordials. Now at the Club Level lounges without a fridge that take away the Beer at 7:00 PM if you still want one before 10:00 PM you can ask for one.

I can't believe our trips are so close! I got another email from GF IPO on Friday...It was asking about final additions since our trip is less than 30 days away. So close :cool1:

It only feels like yesterday that our resort reservations were made.

Sorry for the delay in answering. We have been at the beach for the last week and I haven't been online much. Friday night they had crab cakes and spanakopita. There was also fresh mozzarella, crackers with cheese, and some veggies and dip. There were also the yummy chips from Kouzina. I can't remember which other night we saw the appetizers, either Saturday or Sunday, but it was spring rolls and some kind of dumplings. I didn't see them (DH did), so I'm not sure what else.

Thanks so much! Our oldest son will be very pleased! Fresh mozzarella (alone or in caprese salad) is one of his favorites. Great news - thanks again!
