I just realized that on our Boardwalk Inn IPO form which I filled out through the link on the e-mail that I forgot to mention we would like our Deluxe Room to be on the 4th floor. Now we already made that request when making the reservation through the Disney Reservations Center so it's on our file when they do the room assignment, however I remember others on here saying it doesn't hurt to mention it again to the IPO. So my question is what would happen if I loaded up the question form again and put that request in seeing as how we already filled it out? Also I don't remember seeing a section for writting something like that, so where would it best to write it?

I would not re-send the form, that's just too confusing for them. Instead, I would email the IPO and ask them to verify that your request for a 4th floor room is in your reservation. I did this with the YC and they verified that in fact my request to not have a connecting door was in my reservation.

Thanks for your reply and I we can do that in a few days when we get an e-mail from one of the IPO Cast Members confirming our request for the Half a Red Grapefruit, because I am assuming that will happen again like the last time after we sent them the form.

We stayed AKL CL last September. I filled out the form once, but later sent in my ADR requests, and several additional emails with various other requests. My experience was that they were happy to help us every time with every request (even if it was informational). They don't expect everything to be on the PIP form and for you to only contact them one single time. Contact them as often as you need to. That is what they're there for. I remember that we changed some ADRs (I was able to snag a LeCellier that they couldn't get for me), added surfing at Typhoon Lagoon, asked a couple of questions, etc. Just send your requests. They won't mind.

Well as I said before we already made our room request through the Disney Reservations Center, so it's already on our file and will be seen when our room assignment is done 5 days before we check-in. We just want to make it a 2nd time to be sure, so it's not a major request that we need to let them know about right now.

CR Fan, I had it listed on my CRO ressie and I let IPO know as well. Our wish was granted, but it did blow our perfect record of a room always being ready when we checked in (A small price to pay ;)). We arrived at 11 am and the room was ready by 1pm.

Well since check-in time is 3:00 PM I call that luck. Although during our two previous stays Club Level stays at the BWI we checked-in between 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM and we hope to keep that record in tact. Plus it helps that I put down 1:00 PM as our expected arrival time on the form and I did that in the past when filling it out, so that obviously worked.

Guess we have always been lucky as well then. I can only remember one occasion (our first stay in CL) in over 16 years that our room wasn't ready no matter what time we arrived. We usually arrive around 10:30 a.m. to noon although on a couple of occasions we were checking in from another property and arrived at 7:00 a.m. I always plan for the room not to be available and have been pleasantly surprised at no only the Polynesian, but others as well. :worship::yay: It goes without saying--there was no online check-in back then, just good old fashioned CM power. ;)

Well talk about fast service because today the Boardwalk Inn IPO e-mailed us back saying they put the request in for the Reed Grapefruit. They also asked if there was anything they could assist us with and we mentioned how we requested the 4th floor for our Deluxe Room and asked them to make a note of it. The only difference is this time it wasn't sent by a specifc IPO Cast Member, it was from the whole IPO team.

I am not sure if this is some kind of record but after e-mailing the Boardwalk Inn IPO around an hour ago about our request for a room on the 4th floor close to the lounge, Zoila just e-mailed us saying how the request is in their system and they will do the best to accomodate it. She also mentioned how it's not guaranteed which I obviously already knew.

Per this thread, I also emailed the Poly IPO to "double-check" my room request was on my reservation. The IPO Fairy emailed me back within about 10 minutes. :wizard: They must be getting an influx of these now from you lot.

Can anyone who's stayed Atrium Club level at CR recently tell me whether oatmeal is offered in the lounge in the morning?
Thanks

I believe the CR's Atrium Club has not had oatmeal for at least a couple of years.

It wasn't available during our last stay up there in August 2010. Now usually it's offered between October - Janurary or around those months, however when we stayed there in December 2009 it wasn't available.

bummer. Thanks for the info :)
I agree. I love oatmeal in the morning, too but some CLs only have it seasonally and some have it year 'round, like the YC and some, not at all. I missed both the oatmeal and the hard boiled eggs when we went from the YC to the CR last August.

AKL CL seems to always have oatmeal.
My husband eats oatmeal every morning and it would've been nice to know he could get it in the lounge. thanks again so much for the info wdwkook and crfan

The Innkeepers Club at the Boardwalk Inn and Stone Harbor Club at the Beach Club has Oatmeal 365 days a year. I also remember WDWKOOK saying Oatmeal was also available all year round at the Old Faithful Club in the Wilderness Lodge.

I just had the nicest conversation from a gentleman at Disney's main office regarding coffee. :goodvibes He told me they were in a transition period at the moment with the coffee offerings. Maybe some changes in store for us coffee lovers? :thumbsup2 No timeframe was mentioned but should prove interesting.

Off to get my caffeine fix now.

I'm signing on! We'll be staying at Poly CL in June! I've stayed at YC CL before and loved it so it will be nice to check out a new CL even though it's only for one night!!
