The Uncrustables at AKL CL were open and sliced in half on a platter when were were there in '09. If my child was really sensitive to peanuts I might be a little nervous.

I was at AKL CL in October of 10 and they were unwrapped and out along with mixed nuts.

I wanted to confirm about split stay ADRs. We are considering a split stay in September with AKL and CR, both club level.

Do we just send the form to the first resort for all of our ADRs for the whole trip? We are doing room only and we have 2 different confirmation numbers. Do we just have to note both of the confirmation numbers on the form?

We are only going for 7 nights/8 days total.

Also, how much luck has anyone had having IPO book a CRT breakfast ressie for around 8am on a non-EMH day?

Thanks so much!

This will only be our 2nd club level trip and the first one that we are considering using IPO for.

:banana:Yeah!!!
I just got my email from IPO WL & they got all my ADRs!! 1 or 2 within a 15 mins difference and Le Cellier 1 hr & 40 mins later. Still Good! :thumbsup2A little stressful giving up control but they did good. Now, to go check Le Cellier on my own;) Thanks for everyone's thoughts!!

We also have two continuing room-only reservations and I asked the WL IPO this same question and they responded that it's best to choose the first IPO, which for us is AKL, and email all your requests to them. They explained that this way all of your reservations will be on "one form."

Thanks so much for the info! Our first IPO will be AKL as well.

Awesome!!! I'm hoping they'll be able to work some magic for us too. ;)

just booked Yacht Club CL for Oct 8 - 12. Stayed CL at BWI last year (loved it) and BC the year before that (the reason we are now on our 3rd CL trip). We have had good luck with communication and getting adrs the last 2 years. Hope the luck continues.

Is there a menu for the GF CL offerings?

No menu but there are lots of offerings at breakfast and dinner. Some of the dinner offerings do change nightly.

Breakfast; cold cereals, yogurt and toppings, oatmeal, cheese and sliced meats, rolls, danish, muffins, bagels, toast, juices, coffee and tea.

Evening: 3 kinds of wine, champagne, beer, soda, juice, 2 hot appetizers, 1 or 2 cold appetizers, 2 or 3 kinds of cheese, crackers, veggie and dips, roasted veggies, P&J, cookies, coffee, tea hot and cold, lemonade.

I know there were other things I can't remember them. Food was very good and replenished frequently.

There is a large bowl filled with fresh fruit in the hall. There were mid morning and afternoon snacks and sweets. Also the evening dessert hour had lots of different desserts and cordials. I felt it was the best CL we have experienced.

Thanks!!! We are definitely at least doing a split stay, if I can't convince DS to commit to a whole 9 nights. He has his little heart set on the Poly. Right now we're booked at both.

Mamu, do you remember any specific evening offerings? We have stayed at YC club level several times & will be trying GF for the first time this fall. At YC, we've had quesidillas, bacon wrapped scallops, pot stickers, chicken skewers, tomato & mozarella salad & an orzo salad.

Everyone says that GF has the best club level, so I'm hoping that also means some different goodies to try. Thanks! :)

The app are prepared by the Jiko restaurant and can be exotic, we really enjoyed them but if you are not into that you might not have much to choose from except the different cheese and crackers. My TR from last year has a lot of pictures of the food from the CL lounge in it and you can see what they offer.

Great report, thanks for the tip. The resorts looks great but the food:confused3, not reallly up our alley. Thank you.

Ok- I have read thru all 37 pages on this thread and didn't see the answer to my question:rotfl2:
We are lucky enough to be spending 5 nights in Oct. At BC in a 2 br suite CL (not BCV).
Where are the suites located related to the lounge? How are the views? Does anyone here have any experience in the suites? Any requests I should make for view or location?
We will be 3 adults and 3 kids ages 11,10 and 7. Two of the kids have autism and have loved their previous trips to WDW. We have stayed at GF RPC and Poly CL as well as VWL and POFQ. This will be their first MNSSHP!

Any pics or experiences with this would be much appreciated!!:thumbsup2

Some of the same things, I do remember a few things a shrimp tart, a rice sushi, a cold duck bruschetta. Even though they were similar they were different then the other CL. We done Poly and AKL and this was our best CL so far. I loved the cheese offerings and they had a very good selection of wines. My DH loved the grilled veggies. We will be trying BWI CL in May.

I've never been disappointed in any of the CL.

There were 10 of us on this trip and everyone loved the nightly offerings.

Could someone please answer a couple of questions for me?
First, what is the email address for the AKL club level? It has been a broken link in the previous post.
Also, can the CM's really not accect tips? I didn't realize this.
Also on the AKL 4th floor, is it a key entry only or is that for the 6th floor only?
Finally, how is the animal viewing on the 4th flooor club level?
Thanks so very much for any input.

I can only answer the key entry question. The only place with key entry only is the 6th floor.

I'll go for the tip part of your question....the CM's are not supposed to take cash for tips. They can accept gift cards. I always bring a basket of goodies specific to my city and give the basket to the club cast members to share---last time the basket had Memphis barbecue sauce, Memphis chocolates with city pictures on them, small hand lotions, etc.

Like jackemail said no cash even a small amount. When we were @ the BWI the beginning of January, we saw 2 different guests try and leave $20 for the CM. They tried giving it back to both individuals but they pretended to not hear them. The CM have to put the cash into a pot where the Managers get to decided on what it can be used for. The CM said it was nice way back in the day when they actually were given something, now is not the case. DH believe it or not, loves to make chocolate bark during our January trip. He puts them in individual containers so they all can have some. One yr we even brought down mini Moravian Stars from the Christmas City of Bethlehem, Pa since that is where we are from.
