What else does the Poly CL offer besides beer and wine. Are there any mixed drinks? Just curious as my husband doesn't always like beer and hates wine. Thanks![]()
Hi everyone,
Hope you have had a great weekend.
I'm Sarah and we are visitng WDW from the UK for three weeks on August 11th this year. This whole trip is full of surprises.
My children have no idea whatsoever of our trip and we will be surprising them just before we leave for the airport. I cannot wait to do this, although I know I will cry
We arrive and are staying for three nights at AK Kidani, then four nights CL at AK, followed by two weeks at our fave resort POR.
The day we arrive at POR will be awesome as my Nan and Grandpa are flying (for the first time to the States) to WDW and surprising the children at POR and spending the final two weeks with us. They are just going to get off the Magical Express and we will just happen to be in the lobby where the children will spot their Nan and Gramps! Can't wait for them to experience what WDW will be like.
Now back to our club level part! We have never stayed CL, but I managed to bag a 40% code that was applied to our booking. Up until our POR stay we have no Park tickets so are just going to be relaxing and adjusting to the jet lag we experience from the UK. Therefore we will be able to make use of the fantastic facilities AK and CL has to offer.
So far dealt with Don who has been great. Looking forward to speaking to you over the 66 days before we go!
Sarah
Picking up Package Tickets Prior To Start Of Package
In cases where Walt Disney World Resort Guests would like to begin using their Package Tickets prior to the day of check-in (up to three days in advance), the Guests will be directed to visit any Theme Park or DTD Guest Relations location and request Early Ticket Pick-Up. (Note this cannot be done at a water park.)
It is only valid for people with packages at a Walt Disney World owned and operated Resort. You can be staying off-property at the time you pick up the tickets. Note that if you have a package which includes Dining, although you can pick up your tickets early you cannot get access to the Dining until you have actually checked in to your Resort.
There is a possibility that if your package and the stay prior to the package are at the same Resort that you will be able to get the tickets at the Resort and not have to go to a Park Guest Relations Office.
And the tickets issued will be valid for the entire stay; they will not receive valid tickets when they actually check-in to their resort. There is a strong possibility that the tickets you have received prior to check-in cannot be added to your KTTW on or after check-in.
Thanks - I didn't realize!(I'm a little slow sometimes).
Awesome - thanks!![]()
Speaking from ...ahem... personal experience, after a few switches it might not be a bad idea to contact the current IPO to let them know where you are staying now..

Just booked 4 CL rooms at the BWI for Nov. 16-22. My husband and I are taking our 3 children and their families. We will be celebrating my youngest daughter being in remission from breast cancer!!! Suzy was only 31 when diagnosed last September. She fought the disease with determination and we are all so proud of her. When we asked what she wanted to do to celebrate, she said she wanted everyone to go to WDW.
She has been living in England for the past 6 years and will be moving to Alaska in July. Her husband in in the Air Force. How could I refuse, so it is family celebration time for us!! We will also be celebrating 2 of my grandchildrens' birthdays. Madyson's is the 18th, same as Mickey and Jackson's is trhe 12th. Cannot wait.

You're welcome, but gosh, you're not slow, Lisa S
You speaketh the truth
Why, yes! They are famous for their Lapu Lapu which contains Myer's rum, Bacardi 151, orange juice, sour mix, served in a fresh cut pineapple. BTW, to save a few bucks, refills are available without the pineapple and bring a spork with you to scrape the inside of the pineapple

Thanks, woodkins! I missed two very important letters in her post: CL. I must have just been excited about posting a photo of the Lapu LapuAlthough delicious and awesome the famous Lapu Lapu is not available as part of the CL offerings, you have to purchase it at one of the bars.

When we were there 2 years ago they had Grand Marnier; a premixed fruity drink that has orange-guava-passion fruit juice, pinapple juice, rose wine, grand marnier, and a few other things (sooo tasty); and I think Kahlua & Amarula (which is similar to Bailey's, and possible one other thing. But none of your typical "call" liquors to make mixed drinks with.
I'm sure someone has been there since me and can provide updated info on offerings.
We stayed WL/CL for Christmas and we loved the lounge. The lounge was kept neat and tidy and the food replenished quickly. All the CL rooms are on the 7th floor except for the suites. The only drawback is that the 7th floor only have standing/dormer balconies. On the first page of this thread, I have a link to my WL/CL photos. We have reservations for WL CL in Aug. We stayed at the Poly CL 10 years ago and loved it. Having never stayed CL at WL would love any and all info I can get.
I have a son with lots of allergies and can only drink bottled water. Will they get him bottled water?
What are the food selection like?
Are all CL rooms on the same floor?
Any room request that I should make?
Thanks for any and all help.

Thank you so much for all the info! I did read the 1st page, but it is obvious I need to go back. Back to page one...![]()
If only the Lapu Lapu was included in the CL offerings...I would never leave the lounge![]()
I was wondering in the Beach Club lounge do they have a fridge where they keep their drinks like at the Contemporary or do they have a bucket filled with ice where they keep the drinks like at the Boardwalk Inn?
