Beer is put out at 5:00.
On the Atrium Club floor I saw them put the Beer inside the fridge before 5:00 PM, so not sure if you saw the same thing. However should that not happen 5:00 PM is the correct time when the guests can start taking the bottles.

No, I didn't notice that, but that's good to know. I do know that at all the lounges you can ask for a beer even before they put them out.

Can anyone tell me the location of the following:

BC Lounge?
BC Std. Rooms?
BC GV Rooms?

Are the Std. and GV rooms close to the lounge????

Just want to say that I found this and other thread so helpful when we stayed CL last year at Sugar Loaf. If anyone has any question about my stay there, just PM me.

Thanks in advance for any and all help!!!!

The only thing I know is that all their Standard Club Level rooms and their lounge is all located on the 5th floor.

You can also ask after 7:00 PM once the Beers have been taken away. Now at the Contemporary you won't need to since they keep the Beer in their fridge from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM, however that's not true for the other Club Level lounges. Although I was still able to get Beer after 8:00 PM at the Boardwalk Inn and Polynesian by asking.

Need your thoughts, oh wise ones!

I'm one of the ones who was staying CR CL in August but got moved to GF RPC. :cool1: Up until now, I have been emailing with the CR IPO and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to touch base with the GF IPO?

What do you think?

No problem for you. They are the same IPO. :)

Ditto what CR fan said - the GV and standard CL room are on the 5th floor with the lounge.

You'll need a key card to get up to the 5th floor, and a CM should take you up there for check-in upon arrival. In February, we stayed in a deluxe CL room and my parents were in a CL suite, and those were on the 4th and 1st floor, respectively. Bret met us in the lobby and assisted with check-in - he was extremely helpful. Either way, no problem getting to the lounge, but those standard and GV CL rooms are on the 5th floor with the lounge!

Sooooooooooooooo, today is my 180 day mark for GF SL. This morning (630am to be exact) IPO sent my itinerary for our trip, and I think they did fantastic! I am very pleased. And very excited.

That is wonderful! I found the GF IPO to be very helpful and prompt. :)

Just curious, did they contact you first? Since I've, umm, switched CLs so many times, after the first booking, they don't seem to contact me first. I've got everything booked already, but I do wonder if the current IPO has lost track of me:laughing:

Speaking from ...ahem... personal experience, ;) after a few switches it might not be a bad idea to contact the current IPO to let them know where you are staying now.. :rotfl2:

Hi everyone,

I'm Sarah and we are visitng WDW from the UK for three weeks on August 11th this year. This whole trip is full of surprises.

Now back to our club level part! We have never stayed CL, but I managed to bag a 40% code that was applied to our booking. Up until our POR stay we have no Park tickets so are just going to be relaxing and adjusting to the jet lag we experience from the UK. Therefore we will be able to make use of the fantastic facilities AK and CL has to offer.

So far dealt with Don who has been great. Looking forward to speaking to you over the 66 days before we go!

Sarah

Hi Sarah :)

Nice code! I personally love AKL CL. It has a lot to offer and the staff is great. :goodvibes Have you emailed the AKL IPO yet to say "hi" and make any room requests?

Thank you!

I emailed and have sent in our ADR requests etc that have all been made. Not sent in a room request as of yet, as really I was unsure where to actually request. I don't want somewhere to far away so do I request somewhere close to the lobby?

Many Thanks

Sarah

First off I would like to say this thread as been a goldmine of information! Thanks to everyone who contributes to it, I would be lost without it!

We are staying at the BWI CL in a deluxe room this December. This is our second stay at the Boardwalk, but our first ever CL stay on property. We chose a deluxe room as our party consists of 5 adults and felt we would need the extra room.

I am going to be emailing in our room request soon and was wondering if there are any deluxe rooms that happen to be corner rooms? We had a wonderful standard room last December that was on a corner, and was so much larger than a regular room. I'm guessing its a long shot, but you never know if you don't ask! Like I said.. we're a party of 5 adults and we're family.. so the more breathing room we have to preserve our sanity the better!!

Thanks again for this great thread!

What else does the Poly CL offer besides beer and wine. Are there any mixed drinks? Just curious as my husband doesn't always like beer and hates wine. Thanks :)

I don't think they have any located in the corner. No matter if your on the 3rd or 4th floor their Deluxe Rooms come with a view of the Boardwalk/Cressent Lake and they have their own balconies. Well in this picture I can tell you some of their Deluxe Rooms are located over the Boardwalk Bakery and Seashore Sweets, which both have their own set of balconies. However when you look at the rooms above the arcade sign they don't have their own balcony and it's like that when you keep walking towards the ESPN Club, so that means those are not any of their Deluxe Rooms.

Thanks! I was not aware that the deluxe rooms had separate balconies. Any recommendations for a room request?

Well the rooms on the 3rd floor have bigger balconies, however if you stay on the 4th floor you will be a lot closer to the lounge. Now in August 2010 we had a Deluxe Room on the 3rd floor which was room #3229 and it was very close to the stairs that go up to the 4th floor. So what do you think is more important, a bigger balcony or being close to the lounge?

For our Deluxe Room reservation this coming August we requested a 4th floor room so we can be closer to the lounge, however if we got a room on the 3rd floor that won't be a problem.

Just booked 4 CL rooms at the BWI for Nov. 16-22. My husband and I are taking our 3 children and their families. We will be celebrating my youngest daughter being in remission from breast cancer!!! Suzy was only 31 when diagnosed last September. She fought the disease with determination and we are all so proud of her. When we asked what she wanted to do to celebrate, she said she wanted everyone to go to WDW.

She has been living in England for the past 6 years and will be moving to Alaska in July. Her husband in in the Air Force. How could I refuse, so it is family celebration time for us!! We will also be celebrating 2 of my grandchildrens' birthdays. Madyson's is the 18th, same as Mickey's, and Jackson's is the 12th. Cannot wait.
