I think that at least one (maybe two nights) we will be using the Club as a light dinner. So I don't want to fight lines and seats. But like you said, LOCATION! That's why I quickly ruled out AKL. I think I'm leaning towards BWI.

Now another question for you wonderful people, I'm thinking about adding on another day to our trip (so 5 days, 4 nights) and doing a split stay. Is that crazy for such a small stay? I don't know if we would do club level again unless it's another adult's only trip, so I want to experience another resort. If I do 2 nights WLCL, and 2 nights at BWI CL, its not that much more cost wise. We're not planning on hitting the parks much, so I was thinking the day we switch could be our one big parks day so we would have something to do before check in. Other than that we were just going to enjoy our resort for most of the trip :)
I don't think it's crazy because if you are thinking of staying Club Level at the Boardwalk Inn then you should go for it.

You can check-in as early as 0700 and get your new KTTW cards. You can even check-in and eat breakfast at the next CL lounge. You have lounge privileges from when they open (0630) until they close (10PM) the night you check-out.

I don't think it's crazy because if you are thinking of staying Club Level at the Boardwalk Inn then you should go for it.
...And I don't think it's crazy if it means you're staying at WL/CL:goodvibes

Well honestly, it was you and CL Resort Fan 4 life that changed my minds. Loved those pics of WL! :)
Well I am happy to know how much my Boardwalk Inn Club Level postings have helped you and how my feelings of what I didn't like about Club Level at the Beach Club has changed your opinion about staying there.

Here at the BW using my free WI FI!! Everything is perfect, of course. Have a great room right accross from the lounge, thank you Clare for taking care of it for me!!

They were assembling the Christmas Display yesterday. I watched for a while. They also have a gingerbread bakery that will see the houses, they are $35.00. The lobby smells so nice.

We are going to walk over to the YC and BC tonight to see the displays there. Tomorrow is Madyson's birthday and she is very excited.

Thank you for the live trip report and it's great you are having a fantastic time.

Also according to my ticker I will be arriving there 3 weeks from today, so hearing about all the Christmas decorations and etc going up is getting me excited about my upcoming trip.

Just a quick update, loving the new food at the Innkeeper's Club. The salads are delicious!!! The resort is decorated beautifully. Heading over to Yachtsman for dinner and will check out the decorations there. It is so nice to get hugs from the Cast Members who remember us from past trips. Most of them are family to us. They are great with my grandchildren also.

I loved that chickpea salad but did miss the original greek salad and olives :(

Hope you have a lovely meal at Yachtsman - I miss those hugs :(

Looking forward to hearing more about the lounge menu. Hope someone (hint, hint) will post some photos of the lounge offerings:hyper:

I stayed in Feb 2011 there was never a line to get into the lounge.....breakfast was always plentiful and I never had a problem finding a table.....could be different at other times of the yr. though

We had the same experience at BC. Much of the time we went, it was fairly empty. There might haev been one or two times when it as a little bit crowded. I don't meant ther was no tables, just that it was a little crowded. our room was just off the lounge, so we simply took our food back to our room and ate onteh balcony - just because our balcony was effectively private.

Honestly, at the some of the other resorts we've seenthe seating full - so I don't think seats getting fairly full really distinguishes BC.

What I recall most about BC was the excellent staff. The BC staff was the best we've seen!

Glad to see the free wifi is working! We'll be there in less than a month... thanks for the report!

What makes CL experiences wonderful at WDW are the CMs. They are the key to it all. Best wishes to them and their families on this approaching Thanksgiving!

All the best.

I booked our 25th anniversary trip yesterday:goodvibes (All with the military 40% off;))

~3 nights WL/CL
~5 nights BWI/CL
~5 nights Deluxe Room GF/RPC

I'm wondering which IPO will be the first to contact me:confused3. I know it's a long way off, so there's no rush, but I was just curious:scratchin

Any updates??? Now that you have "tweaked" your resorts/dates, have you contacted any of the IPOs?

We did get an email from WL (but we already changed that one ;))

And yesterday CR sent us an email. :yay:

You're right, the CMs can make or break CL (well, and the guests:rolleyes:).

Seeing that you've stayed at so many CLs, I would love to know which is your favorite and why. So far, we love The Old Faithful Club CMs, but are looking forward to trying RPC, BWI and AKL this summer.

Excellent question, my dear pas...

It's been about 24 hours since I booked WL/CL for Spring Break and I have neither gotten my Disney Destinations confirmation, nor have I been contacted by the IPO (but it does appear in "My Reservations"). Within a couple of hours, I did receive my DD confirmation for changing WL/CL to AKL/CL, but I still haven't been contacted by any IPOs (BWI or GF) for this summer's trip - maybe because my ADR date is in January:confused3. Of course I book all my own ADRs, but it's still exciting to be contacted by the IPO. I'm glad the CR (GF) IPO has contacted you - was it Marijane? She's great.

Does anyone know if the concierge can sell you a TIW card or will I have to go to a Guest Services window again?

IDK who it was. The first was a "generic" type e-mail. I then sent a request for a King room with a connecting 2 Queen room, which they replied (within the hour) that they noted the request and would try their best. I have all my ADRs so I really don't think I have any more requests. Now DH wants the BLV, he said he doesn't want to look at the parking lot. We would still have the castle view from the lounge....but I want a castle view :lovestruc We may have reached an impass :rolleyes1 HRH doesn't care as long as she has CL :laughing:

You could be right about your ADR date opening up in January. This past August after we resered our December 2011 Boardwalk Inn Club Level reservation, a few days later we got our welcome letter from their IPO Cast Members and by that time we were well inside our 180 day mark.

Guest services is the only place to get the TIW card at the parks, AFAIK.

DH wants to know if the CL CMs would put drinks in our fridge, like water, milk, & beer. Do they do that? Also, would they book Le Cirque tx for us too?
