Concierge/Club Level Information - Part II (Sept 2009)

Well, I am going back to my happy place, the BWI, on June 7th.We will be going with 2 of my children and their families to celebrate my oldest grandson's 9th birthday!!!

originally we booked the WL, but just had to change it. Changed yesterday morning and already had my e-mail from BWI IPO by 4 yesterday afternoon!!! Cannot wait to be with my 4 granchildren at my favorite place, and their parents too. Too bad my youngest daughter and her family can't join us. They are staioned overseas.

DH and I were booked at BC, (my idea) but I could tell he wasn't really excited about our upcoming trip. When I asked him, he said he really wanted to stay at WL. So, there you have it. Gotta meet him half way and I added the CL because, well I am a lounger at heart.

There is a cooler with Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite. It is stocked 24/7, but does tend to become low after the fireworks.

We changed our girls trip to october this year! My neice, DIL and friends are going to run in the new Food and Wine 1/2 marathon. There will be quite a few of us going then.

Jackie is still at the BW, but Joseph has moved on.

You will like the WL,we stayed there in January and once before that. We were going to stay there again, but my oldest grandaughter is very spoiled and wanted the BWI!! Jim and I took her last April and my son took her in October. She was treated like a princess and loved it!!!!

Update on the "strollers" i asked AKL and they said there are no free strollers. Boy that stinks.

do you have to pay in full before you use the IPO? Our next trip will be in January for the marathon and I was thinking of trying CL.

Absolutely not! You must have a confirmed reservation though. Room only is the 1st night's deposit; package is a $200 deposit. As soon as you have a Confirmation #, IPO will work with you!

Hi all, just wanted to let you know that I've started a trip report for our Beach Club CL stay, which (as I may have mentioned before ) we absolutely loved! I got so much great information here and elsewhere on the DIS that I wanted to do a TR in case any of our experiences/ photos can help anyone else out. So I'm a little happier with the IPO's at Poly. They've really helped me out a bunch. IPO at AKL (especially Don) has been wonderful, and very patient with me even though they must think I'm a wack job.

I did email the IPO = our trip is in May and it has been 4 days with no reply. Do most of you deal over the phone? Or wait for someone to email you?

I would call in the morning and talk to them on the phone. They should have gotten back to you in a day or two. Maybe your email got lost. Call them.

I usually emailed....they should have sent you an automated response saying they received your email. Did you get one of those? If you didn't, check to see that your email actually went through. The Poly IPO always got back with us within 12 hours. They are awesome!!! Or like the pp said....call.

I agree with calling. I had a lot of trouble with the WL IPO before our November trip. I wound up making all of my reservations myself because they told me that they could not find any for me ( not even difficult ressies either)

No, not really. Maybe a spark here or there.
Only Epcot CL lounge is the BWI.

Actually the Resorts with the exception of the Animal Kingdom Lodge share the same IPO department.
